    I thought we might see Hoffman in a save situation in the 9th but I am glad they are sticking with Axford.

    Zambrano has gone from my least favorite player to one of my favorite non brewers just because he is a cub and an absolute disaster. I would love to see the video of him going off on the cameraman.

    I have really been impressed with Lucroy so far although it still is a fairly small sample. I'm glad he's being given the chance which he is definitely showing he has earned.

    The Blue Angels are doing some shows on the lakefront this weekend and have been flying since yesterday. I live right by the lake. Really loud. I am kind of hoping for thunderstorms this weekend so I don't have to deal with the noise too much.

    I hadn't seen much of him until tonight so I was a little annoyed at all the hype for a pitcher who had yet to pitch a major league game but after watching tonight I understand. His stuff is just plain nasty.

    That Subway commercial for their new breakfast menu which starts off with an alarm clock going off. I cringe everytime I hear the sound of an alarm clock.

    Manny is looking good so far but I've learned to not get too excited about a couple of well pitched innings by him.

    I feel so bad for Gallarraga and Joyce, although a little less for the latter. It's being reported that Joyce went into the locker room after the game and personally apologized to Gallarraga and Leyland which I have to say is a class act. I'm not sure I would be able to face them after a situation like this.

    Wow, I cannot believe the blown perfect game. Unfortunately this isn't like the Sabathia blown no hitter where they can review it and change the call. Typically I try not to criticize umps for blown close calls but that was horrendous. If there is any doubt I think you have to call it an out.

    I agree that this team is definitely better than what their record shows. I would love to see a huge turnaround to the season but am not getting my hopes up about seeing .500 again this season. At this point I am focusing my positivity to the fact that if we have a poor record going into July, it will make the Prince decision a lot easier.
