  1. 30th pick it is!
  2. That no call pass interference could ruin this great game.
  3. Well how about that?
  4. I like him as a player, but I thunk he was born too late for his game. I don't think his game will play very well in the NBA to get drafted. Though I heard in one of the last 2 broadcasts that he shoots 80% from the line in practice, so it seems like it's all mental. If a team thinks they can fix that and have it translate to an outside game, maybe in the second round. Maybe.
  5. Wow, incredible effort to actually take the lead. Shame we couldn't finish the deal. Maybe maryland just relaxed too much or maybe this team just needs to play relaxed. But once they start playing with some confidence thats when they roll i think. 11 3s in the half vs 0 helps too.
  6. How is this offense so bad? It's like we have this phenomenal post player in happ and then 4 guys who feel it's their job to get happ the ball and then watch. I realize, besides happ, the 2 upper classes are pretty bad, but it's still incredibly frustrating. Looks like we are gonna waste our great start to the season.
  7. Interesting play where the coyboys right tackle effectively sacked Prescott because he wrapped his arms around him and spun him a little to keep him upright, but the ref was behind him and im assuming couldn't tell who had his arms around him because he called the play dead as an "in the grasp".
  8. This 5Ge thing att is pushing is making me draw parallels to "this is spinal tap" when theyre talking about their amps going to 11.
  9. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25745503/chicago-brewery-cody-parkey-challenge-yields-0-winners-101-entrants?platform=amp Lol bears fans. Also, the colts-chiefs game was pretty exciting even with the score. Colts seemed to be quite the media darling going in too. Just hoping the patriots lose and the afc will be "safe" for me.
  10. I think that's true about playoff games, but 163 would have been considered a regular season game. Though I don't know if it would have had split profits or not as a special case.
  11. Turnovers late in close games are killing us. Well this ended up in the wrong badger thread.
  12. Based off the results it should have been a 1 team playoff lol.
  13. It's not much different then it is now with fumbles on runs. Teams see the ball on the ground and go for it even with refs blowing their whistles and pointing to the ground emphatically. I'm wondering now what would have happened if someone far away got an ok look at the catch, or just decided what the heck, and went running after the ball, but since they were so far away the ref picks up the ball before they get there. Does the player get a delay of game if they take it out of the refs hands? Is the ball dead after the ref touched it or would he still get credit for "recovering" the fumble?
  14. Yeah. All either team had to do was pick up the ball and they would have gotten it at that spot. With how things are taught today I'm a little shocked nobody did. This one will probably be changed in the off season. It's just too counterintuitive.
  15. Honestly, I thought it had hit the upright, and gone through....kept waiting on the officials to signal. I thought it was gonna bounce in and then again after it hit the cross bar. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.
  16. That was the best missed fg ive ever seen.
  17. That is a bizarre set of circumstances. Bear player makes a catch but it's striped out as he's going to the ground, ruled incomplete. It's reviewed, under 2 minutes, and basically ruled a catch, but since no one jumped on the ball, except the ref who had to walk over and pick it up, it's an incomplete pass. Also embarrassingly for NBC, their "rules expert" thought it would be bears ball at the spot of the fumble. I'll cut him some slack since this is probably the first time that rule has even needed to be used on a catch like that with the new rules for catches this year.
  18. They did. Fought back to get it to 6, then a gopher hit back to back 3s to put it to 12, fought back to get it to 2 late, but in the final minute or so went full keystones cops to dash any hope. Plus a bajillion missed free throws. Hack a happ in full force worked.
  19. Man, so much talk from players about supporting philbin and playing hard this week for him resulted in this? Maybe they didn't really want philbin back either.
  20. But that's been him all year. A ball going through his hands in situations like that, 3rd down or red zone targets.
  21. Man Jimmy Graham has been such a disappointment.
  22. So rodgers has them right where he wants them?
  23. This whole brooksgate thing is just bizarre.
