  1. We are just trying to be like the Cubs, they sent their ace from last year to the bullpen, so so did we. I'm excited for Narveson, I hope he can return to pitching like he did last year and in spring training now that he is going to be in a more familiar role, in starting. I wonder if they are going to tweak the rotation at all. They shouldn't have to though since, iirc, Wolf and Davis are more soft tossers and Narveson is more of a harder thrower and he is between Wolf and Davis taking Soups spot.
  2. I'm wondering, at what point does Soup go to management and ask to be taken out of the rotation. He has to know that he isn't one of the best 5 starting pitching options that the brewers have.
  3. He changed Rickies hit in the first to a hit later on though.
  4. Wow, I should sleep through brewer games more often, stupid working nights. Also, see what happens when you win game 1 of a series brewers? You win the rest of the games in the series too.
  5. There has, because Escobar is 2-2 with a walk.
  6. Looks like we have run into someone with worse luck then our own.
  7. Bush was pinch hit for in the 7th in, what I assume, was a move to try and get some insurance runs. HEY A ZAUN HIT!!
  8. It kinda looked like he was stepped to the side, and more out of the base path line, so instead of going out of his was to run him over, prince decided to slide. I was disappointed. Also, chat room has vacancy if anyone is interested.
  9. According to that link, our triple a team plays in a bigger market then us. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  10. Brewer fans, we have hope. All we have to do is sign Prince to a long term contract. We will then be a large market team, and thus be able to afford said contract. Thank you Joe Morgan for bestowing your wisdom on us and showing us the way.
  11. Maybe if we get lucky, teams will start to think he is too much of a hot head, and when it comes time for him to hit free agency, nobody will want him and we can sign him for real cheap. I can dream can't I?
  12. I can't believe the most important question hasn't been asked yet. When Zaun did his little fist pump at the end of the 8th, did he wake the sleeping giant?
  13. At least McGehee and Edmonds are switched around today.
  14. He is probably including concessions in that $40 a head. Maybe merchandise as well, since that isn't included in any of the other things he lists, unless maybe local revenues. But then again, with those things added in, $40 would seem a little conservative.
  15. My game observations: 1. Hart got one of the loudest cheers, I was a little surprised by that. 2. I saw a group of guys that wore wolf masks to the game. I was wondering if that was going to happen at all this year. 3. I agree, that triple play contestant failed pretty hard. 4. McGehee has been a pleasant surprise these two games after that spring he had. Overall it was a pretty fun game to go to, despite the weather being the opposite of yesterday.
  16. Great, now he is going to go 0fer tomorrow.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gifI demand you bench him the rest of the year.
  17. Great, now he is going to go 0fer tomorrow.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  18. It looks like the Bucks play Tuesday at 7, so I'm pretty sure that will be on FSN, and why the game is on WMLW in the first place. If the Bucks did not have a game, and the Brewers were still on WMLW, then that broadcast would be shown on FSN in the Appleton area. At least that's how it was done previous years and I wouldn't expect that to change this year.
  19. Just think, there is baseball being played at Miller Park right now. =p~(that is the drooling smiley from yahoo)
  20. http://milwaukee.brewers...._id=8953570&c_id=mil Good for at least a chuckle. I like the Prince one the best.
  21. 87 wins, tied with the Cards, but we win the tie breaker game to win the division. So I guess 88 wins?
  22. If the Leuers could get some defensive rebounds, they might actually have a shot in this game. It seems that Cornell isn't missing, but when they do they get the rebound and then make a three.
