  1. And then untuck'em.
  2. I feeling pretty optimistic this morning, and since my May prediction was close but a little high, Ill shoot really high and hope the actual record follows. So I will say 20-7.
  3. Matt Capps threw at Prince's head in 2007. Ryan had the nerve to be happy about a pennant race changing grand slam in 2008. Jeff Karstens plunked Ryan in 2009 and Ryan mouthed off about it a bit after the game. And yeah, there was that lengthy win streak over PIT, then a lengthy home win streak over PIT. I seem to remember something with Prince running over the catcher, I believe, the night before the Capps throwing at his head game. I think they felt it was unnecessary, which is why they threw at him the next day. I think both games were come from behind wins. Looking at the schedule it may have been Aug 31 of '07, if someone wants to fact check.
  4. I wasn't going to watch or pay attention to the game today, but when I checked to see what time we were playing so I could know when to check and see the score, I noticed we were....winning and figured I should tune in to watch...the offense.
  5. The error didn't lead to any runs. I suppose if you include holding runners on base as defense (which makes sense), then you can put some blame there. But I think that was more a case of the astros manufacturing a run with aggressive baserunning than poor defense from the brewers. I'm also including the infield single, though i didn't really get a good look at it, but I can't help but feel it should have been an out.
  6. Yeah, it was a good thing our league leading defense showed up in the first or else we would really be in "a" "hole"...oh wait.
  7. I will unscientificly predict 30-0, I've got a good feeling about that number. (Dad, they don't play 30 games) Then I predict 19-10. I've got a good feeling about that number.
  8. That's not fair http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Why do none of our hitters hit homers while going to a knee?
  9. He tried calling her yesterday as well, phone was still off.
  10. Boggs starting last night at least tells me that he, at least, might be ahead of Almonte on the roster now. I for one will take solace in that for now.
  11. If Vegas has bets on who wins gold gloves, I might need to put some money on Fielder after all this hype starting up. That combined with a great offensive year, might get him one...
  12. They already have that. This year the Brewers were on WMLW when the Bucks were on, so those lucky people in Milwaukee could still see the game, and those with digital cable or satellite who could watch it on an alternate fsn channel.
  13. Probably the play where he fouled off a pitch, assumed it was going to stay foul so didn't run to first and then it slowly turned fair and became fair just in front of the first base bag. Hard to fault Weeks for not running because I doubt anybody runs down to first on a ball like that. It actually reached the edge of the grass, maybe even onto the grass, before turning fair. I had looked and when it started to turn Weeks had his back to the ball.
  14. That whole top of the inning was weird. First weeks ball rolls back fair, then the dropped out where braun should have been at second, then braun runs through a stop sign and scores and then mcgehee assumes prince will be sent and gets caught between first and second. Nice homer by Lucroy.
  15. Obviously just getting ready for when hes playing for one of those teams next year.
  16. With cc in left and kotsay in right, gomez is going to have to be like kelly leak in the bad news bears. Just running over and catching the ball before they can screw up.
  17. Almost got that Menard's big inning. Nice to see the offense bust out big.
  18. My first thought was if it was some sort of stupid dare.
  19. Dear Brewers, Please score more runs than the Phils. Dear Morgan's bruise, Go away Yours truly, Young Guns
  20. At least we know that Ron has finally found the double switch section of the NL manager's handbook.
  21. Ok, so Morgan does everything. Why exactly does Kotsay start over him? With subbing him here for Kotsay, Ron already concedes that he is faster and a better defender(and catcher knocker over), how long until he realizes hes a better hitter.
  22. Boy, all that complaining about hitting solo shots seems to have worked. Nobody better start complaining that all they do is hit multi-run homers now.
