    Stacking parsons is so good. It takes up 3 blockers attention because you don't know which way he's going and the nose tackle is simultaneously in the way for those blockers as well.

    The only good thing is that Rodgers clearly recovered the ball anyway. But yeah those weird quirks or the rules suck sometimes.

    Their wins have come against bad teams in the jets and dolphins, a mediocre Dallas team, and after today what looks like a bipolar Falcons team. So not really unreasonable if they are just one of the top bad teams.

    I don't root against him, but I'm glad I get to just roll my eyes and so not our circus to his antics. After tampas loss tonight, we get to enter this week as the current 1 seed in the NFC, so we've got that going for us.

    If that was a game winner that is a heart breaker for Seattle. I don't know if I'm exactly rooting for them but I do have a soft spot for them since they haven't even made a world series before. Feels like the Brewers of the AL.

    I still have no faith in getting a stop sadly.

    I believe MLF has no confidence in the defense to make a stop, which is why he's trying to eat all the clock before scoring. The ironic part is that 4th down play gained so many yards it makes it hard to do that now.

    There was like a whole week between the regular season and the playoffs where Murphy couldn't pitch him. So not only does Murphy have an itch to satisfy, but Ashby is super rested now.

    Can this be what all those failed bases loaded ABs in the regular season have been for? Will Ortiz make all of us forget his crappy season?

    Ugh this game is everything about why I did not want to face the cubs. I'm nervous about the potential loss than I am excited about a potential win. As for starter, my vote is for Patrick.

    Phillies lose in one of the dumbest ways possible. The panic ate that pitcher alive.

    Interesting note, all 4 games are elimination games today. I wonder if there has ever been a year where all 4 series ended on the same day.

    I would like to think we don't need watson against this Bengals team that has looked abysmal, Flacco or no Flacco. So letting him get a couple weeks of practice before easing him next week, assuming no set backs and he ls ready, would be ok with me.

    Yankees starting to finally show some fight, but Jay's still up 6-3 early. Seattle/Detroit has been a good series so far, but Seattle is dominating today. A Toronto/Seattle ALCS would be fun just from the standpoint of not hating either team, but also 2 teams playing well. If the Brewers and dodgers both close out their series then that would be 4 good teams playing well in the championship series. Though that might be redundant since you kind of have to be playing well to make a championship series in the first place.

    I think it would have been hilarious if we announced quintana as the starter only to pull him for priester after the first. Only problem is you couldn't really hide him warming up.

    Stark contrast to the Vaughn homer! No doubt about that one!

    Wow. I did not think that Vaughn homer had a chance. I figured that was 3/4 to the wall at best. I was fooled by the outfielder looking like he was getting ready to settle under it, but then he kept backing up. Vaughn is a strong man.

    If I read the stat right from a couple days ago, Kiki hernandez's career post season ops is almost 180 points higher in the post season than the regular season. So he would be one that would be annoying to face.

    And yet a lot of the speed up the game rules were implemented because the length of playoff games were getting out of hand. I'm not ok with marathon games in the regular season and still not ok with them on the playoffs. Though, if Mondays game goes 17 innings it won't effect me because I'm going to have to be in bed likely before 9 innings are done anyway.

    This is just 100% untrue. Have you never heard the fans complain about a call and there's no box for the fans in the stands. You think nobody ever complained about called pitches before a box was put on the TV screen? All the box does is give people a sense of vindication. And I forgot to mention the actual players/coaches themselves. You've never seen them complain about a call before?
