  1. [sarcasm]Championship games are only 1 quarter long now right?[/sarcasm]
  2. A 24 point or greater win against Orlando monday will have the bucks do something never done before. 5 straight 24+ point victories.
  3. I dont see how clemson losing would hurt us, so I'm all for it. Go lsu and Baylor! Keep our (slim) hopes alive!
  4. I dont know what it would actually take for Wisconsin to get in, but if a 2 loss non champion georgia were to get in over a 2 loss champion Wisconsin then the whole system is broken. Likewise I dont know what Oklahoma's name recognition would do to benefit Baylor, but we also would have beat a high name in ohio st. Plus have some other good wins despite the extra loss.
  5. I will say it's kind of a weird article. They go out of their way to put a blame on millenials when the article could just be about the recovery of the Christmas tree industry. You would think millennials are going around burning down Christmas tree farms cause a lack of supply which increases the price with a headline like that. Instead its millennials are basically now the target demographic for Christmas trees and they are buying now that the economy is doing well enough. But I guess blaming millennials is more click baity.
  6. A Million little things. I cant really explain it, but I really like this show.
  7. Bengals finally won a game. I guess that guy can finally get off his restaurants roof now.
  8. Commercials. Specifically 2 today. The KFC chicken waffles one where the do a "ghost" pottery scene reenactment is just too much for me. The second one is the state farm where rodgers "agent" says rodgers doesnt know how to play it safe. Does he even know rodgers?
  9. For whatever its worth(which isnt much) espn has Penn st predicted for the rose bowl with us in the citrus bowl(possibly better know by us as the capital on bowl) vs Auburn. Minnesota predicted for the outback bowl.
  10. Sf just lost to baltimore.
  11. Does anyone want the #1 pick? The 3 worst teams are all winning.
  12. Allison finally makes a play.
  13. Why do these have to be mutually exclusive? I'm posting about my CFP pipe dreams because I'm reveling in our curb stomping of Minnesota. I'll be rooting for, lsu, clemson, Oregon, baylor, and of course Wisconsin. I dont know if that gets us in, but I think that's our best chance. This year is really making a case for an expanded playoff imo. One of the arguments I've heard most is that the conference championships already are defacto playoff games, but imagine a scenario where Oregon, Baylor, Wisconsin, Virginia, and georgia win but the playoff still ends up being ohio st, lsu, clemson and georgia.
  14. Gotta give credit to the defender there. Got his arm in there so Jimmy couldn't secure it and he still almost did.
  15. That's was 3rd down. Should have been a punt.
  16. I'm ready for the game to start now...
  17. I'm not worried about georgia yet. They still have to play lsu.
  18. I dont know. Our best shot might be beating an undefeated #2(or 1 if lsu trips up before then) ranked ohio st team on a neutral field.
  19. That seems too clever for the masses. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of individuals saying “OK Boomer” think it’s just anyone that’s older than them without knowing the real context. The context, as far as I'm aware, is that boomer isnt a reference to the person's age, but their mindset. Anyone can be a "boomer" but a baby boomer is a person of a certain age.
  20. You could essentially operate with a full 40 man roster there wasn't one. You could plan your player's days off, IL them for some ailment and have reinforcements available if you wanted them. But would teams actually do that? Maybe for some players I guess, but if your planning on giving yelich a day off, does the team want him on the bench as a just in case guy or are they going to call up Corey ray to sit on the bench for the day? My point is I dont see a reason why we have to make a decision on a guy who gets banged up and wont play for a day or 3. Pitchers are obvious, but position players less so. I just feel like teams should have the option of replacing someone who's legit banged up. Just look at braun. How many times has he been put in limbo. Sometimes he ends up being ILd anyway and sometimes it does end up being just a few days. It kinda goes back to what thurson said about guys playing through injuries.
  21. If this interception isnt overturned for the Pat's the fix is definitely in. And rightfully overturned. Hey the refs get one right!
  22. I don't understand why there is even a minimum stay anyway, besides pitchers of course.
