    Obviously our optimism is still focused on THIS season, but if the Brewers can keep up the same pace next season they will finish 2020 with a 146-16 record. Psh, greatest decade team ever when we put up a 1460-160 record for the 2020s.

    It wasn't, I'm sorry. He rubbed his chest a milisecond before the ball, thrown to the inside, arrived. Didn't really knock him off his route, didn't grab his arms, didn't turn him. It's just not going to get overturned on that weak sauce. I don't have a problem if it was called on the field PI, probably could have been, but there was zero chance that subjective judgement was going to get overturned with that video. He shoved him away from the ball and kept him from getting his left arm at the ball.

    It's moments like this where I would support some sort of targeting in the NFL. Can that player be ejected? I wanna say it's possible but can't remember.

    It's gonna be so annoying when all we needed was 1 cub win out of 7 games to win the division and not get it.(just saying this now to jinx it)

    Flaherty would be on normal rest on Sunday. If I were them, and won the first 2 I would hold off. But what do they do if they lose one of the first 2 and need the win on Sunday to force a 163? I would probably hold him anyway. They lose then they have him for the wildcard. If they win anyway then they have him for 163.

    NCAA protests California bill allowing college athletes to profit from endorsements - Los Angeles Times https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-09-11/california-college-athletes-endorsements-bill Heard about this last week but forgot about till this conversation. This should just be a national law. Though it will be interesting to see how it effects recruitment once all the dust settles. Kinda laughable for the NCAA to call in unconstitutional. I dont recall anything in the constitution about student athletics.

    I was checking out the elimination numbers for some of the teams behind us. For the dbacks its 3 and mets and Phillies are both 4. Cubs are 5.
