  1. Once again. Really glad Ramirez was pinch run for Oh well. Let's go Rogers!!
  2. Let's bunt him over RRR so they can intentionally walk Luc
  3. Molina is up. RRR says let's keep with this kintzler thing
  4. Well it's been fun - we were close but I feel a holiday dinger here
  5. I am just not a fan if taking one of your best hitters out of the game. Ramirez would be due up 5th
  6. That was a ball ump and following suit Logan pops out - shocker
  7. I would rather have hurt GoGo hitting here / well then Logan. Certainly would like lucroy to let the ghost runner take 3rd
  8. I wouldn't even throw Davis a strike - but we shall see Edit - I am a horrible speller
  9. vs 1. Carpenter - .375 OBP 2. Jay - .387 3. Holliday - .368 4. Peralta - .343 5. Molina - .342 6. Wong - .289 7. Scruggs - .370 (AAA) 8. Bourjos - .302 9. Wacha and Scruggs with the start over fat Adams.
  10. 1. Gennett - .330 2. Parra - .328 3. Lucroy - .362 4. Ramirez - .348 5. Davis - .310 6. Reynolds - booooooo - .291 7. Schafer - Double boooooooo - .264 8. Segura - .275 9. Peralta I guess we need the top to go, I don't know 10 for 20 with 6 runs as the bottom will pull in a nice 0 for 16.
  11. Ya, that is a good quote. Lets turn this thing around Brewers. After going 1-11 in early July, we then went 7-3, with 2 of the L's coming on blown saves. So it easily could have been 9-1. And we have a 11 game home stand in front of us. Just saying. Go Brew Crew!! edit, 11 game home stand
  12. AZ - don't remind me. Superfly - I don't think anyone is advocating, hey see, see RRR knows what he is doing. I agree with you, the hit and run yesterday drove me nuts. Still gets me heated thinking about it. But at least he is doing 1 thing right for today. I really don't think you could find any arm chair manager on this board who thinks Reynolds should start over Clark or Rogers. (So at least he pulled the trigger and put him in the lineup.) He may have 3 errors and 3 strikeouts today but at least he isn't just sticking with the status quo.
  13. Well if that's the quote, then this is a mountain-out-of-a-molehill case. That is exactly what it is
  14. Ya, I heard it. I would be more disappointed in Davis' most recent quote: http://www.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/sixth-straight-loss-drops-brewers-out-of-first-place-b99342223z1-273486211.html That to me is the laughable quote. Ah, just get hot at the right time and "jump" into the playoffs. It sounds so easy Khris. But in the end it doesn't surprise me that guys don't know how to handle losing. So to me it is what it is. And for the Lucroy comment, he is a very laid back individual so that is kind of just how he is. He isn't a rah-rah - Bluto type speech guy. (Who is Bluto for you young folks? http://www.metacafe.com/watch/yt-ep-xgd_eETE/blutos_speech_from_animal_house/)
  15. Glad to see you are still keeping the faith. Many (and I mean maaaaaaaany of abandon ship) ... radio stations are taking on many of calls right now in the area. Plus, I looked a little over a week ago for the cost of tickets for tomorrow's game vs Cards (competing against the Packers) and cheapest ticket on Seat Geek was $22. Today - $6. Heck, you can get row 1, row1! behind home plate during games this weekend for $140. That is the cheapest I have seen it all year. Usually row one starts at $200.
  16. The entire team has been COACHED to be first pitch swingers. It's why Davis was so screwed up in April. Funny how he's looked much better since then. I agree, they have been. Davis had a 12% walk rate in AAA with 421 PA. In the Majors he has a 6% walk rate.
  17. This first piece is the piece that frustrates me the most when I hear it. This isn't an attack at you. I get it, managers are not the ones playing. But Managers do have a huge impact to the game. They make the lineup, they pull the strings. RRR called the hit and run last night with Ramirez at the plate, with a guy on first and third and only one out. Braun gets tossed out and then Ramirez flys out to RF. Game could have been 4-2, guy on first with Davis up. Instead it was 4-1 and inning over. Also, not having Clark or Rogers be given a try and trotting Reynolds out there everyday has been a huge problem. I know this isn't solely his decision, but Reynolds is horrible. Combine that with the suckage of Segura and you have an automatic inning skipper come the 7 - 9 hitters of our lineup. I know other teams don't have great hitters down there, but none of the playoff teams sport three straight spots with guys having an OBP under .300. Combine that with Davis' barely over .300 OBP and you have 4 straight spots who don't frequent 1B a lot. The 2nd piece I bolded, sure, get more guys who are patient at the plate. I would love it! But the bad news is then have a fire sale as Gomez, Braun Ramirez, Scooter, Davis, Reynolds, Segura are all first pitch swingers. This whole team has been built around swing first guys. (Thus why they are in the bottom 5 in total walks as a team. Oakland leads baseball and has over 150 more walks than us.)
