  1. I agree with all of this. Especially since I prefer Marcum over Greinke. (With the idea that the cost will be a lot less) ... Greinke has been pretty un-impressive in his year + with the Brewers.
  2. That's where I am at ... What if izturis or ransom gets hurt? I would like another option over maysonet
  3. I know we just picked up ransom but what about Billy http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/05/orioles-designate-bill-hall-for-assignment.html Edited because auto correct changes ransom to random
  4. I run with this 1B Hart RF Aoki LF Braun 3B Ramirez C Lucroy 2B Weeks CF Morgan/Gomez platoon SS Ransom
  5. Ding Ding Ding Ding ... we have ourselves 2 winners.
  6. Everyday I keep looking to see if this guy is signed, but nope. We keep trucking ahead with Cesar, I like grounding out to the pitcher, Izturis. I think he might be on pace to set the single season record for most non-bunting ground outs to the pitcher.
  7. Rickie Weeks is on pace for 240 strikeouts this season. Which would give him 1st place on the all time list. (He would beat it by a comfortable 17 SO) ... I have to believe this can't continue. For Weeks career, he has struck out 23 % of the time. So it isn't like he doesn't strike out, but this is ridiculous. And the bad part is, you have to let him play through it. There is nothing that you can do. He is better than this, and he knows he is better than this.
  8. Ya, but it was either Rollins or Ramirez. And they have done about the same this year. So in the end, both were bad ideas (so far)
  9. MLBTR says "Hudson turned down an opportunity to play regularly elsewhere in order to join the White Sox in this role." ... wonder if that elsewhere was here in Milwaukee. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/05/orlando-hudson-to-sign-with-white-sox.html
  10. "Technical difficulties" is what they've been saying. It's been commercial-free all night. Or this ...
  11. I had been watching at the gym with no sound or captions, and would rather not look though 9 pages. Why is this the case? Cesar Izturis made a bet that he could get a hit before the next commercial ... Needless to say FSN could be waiting a while
  12. I was wondering the same thing ... what gives FSN? Making too much money don't need the commercials anymore?
  13. I think Corey's mind was a little pre-occupied with his first start at first. I hope he gets his mind at ease soon, becuase we could sure use him there.
  14. I agree. That is just ridiculous. Not only are you batting .150 you are not paying attention in the field.
  15. I am all aboard the Bianchi train - they need to try something
  16. Is Renteria at all an option? I am done watching Izturis. We need to do something at this position. It seems like the outfielders play at about 250 feet from him when he bats. (Next time he comes to the plate take a look at how far they move up. It's ridiculous.)
  17. Didn't see this posted anywhere ... http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/05/lance-berkman-likely-has-torn-acl.html As we all knew, it was just a matter of time before some injuries started happening in StL. With the Cardinals luck, his replacement at 1B will probably bat .300. In any case, this is a blow for them.
