    I don't think that anyone is happy about the injury, just that now the situation with the rotation is resolved, with the weakest link (looking at the last couple weeks or so) is not in the rotation and can jopefully get healthy. Again, I doubt anyone says "YES, Soup is out, I hate him and wish him personal injury!"

    I always feel a little bad for these young kids when they get traded and their names get thrown though the mud. I am at fault much like a lot of others, looking at these people like they are chess pieces they can swapped in and out with no real effects on their lives. I know, the nature of the buisness and all.

    I think if they campaigned for Hardy like they did for Braun he would be in, although this way gives the NL a better chance to win.

    So far, there are four partipants in the HR derby (Uggla, Berkman, Hamilton, someone else I forgot). It will be intersting to see if Braun makes it as he already said he wants in.

    I am really interested in seeing how CC gels with the team. If you remember, he was one of players that talked about the lack of African American players in the league nowadays. He is now with Cameron, Weeks, Hall, and Fielder so it may give him more of a sense of belonging though I doubt that would make any semblance of an impact in terms of the amount of money he would take. It could be a deciding factor is all other things are equal though.

    18 Runs, 7 HRs, 27 RBIs, and an OPS of .661. Very pathetic atleast offensively.

    Drew Caray won't do all that much... I do think the Cubs are better as well as playing better as a team. Let's not forget that they have had some injury issues as well.

    By eating 59 hotdogs in 10 minutes and beating Kobayashi in OT. Here's to you Joey, for fighting off the Japanese on our home turf this fourth of July. By the way, I was really disgusted after watching but still a little hungry.
