Yeah, the Brewers have changed their timetable to next week for me now. I am also mistaken in that these are terrace tickets, not loge.

Yeah, I hope to have the tickets today. I did get in early so the seats are pretty good in terms of cheap seats. Also, if anyone wants to buy 2 tickets to every game (Opening Day included) they can for 810 dollars. Not bad seeing as how Opening Day is going for 120 for a pair.

I broke down and bought season tickets this year and being from a ways away I decided that maybe I might not be making it to most games. Here are games I will for sure not be making it to. I am asking for $22 for four tickets, my money back and shipping, payable by cash or check (paypal take too big of a cut unless you want to pay more). I am selling them in fours only as I don't want to have to send out more than I need to (I am sure you can make money on the ones you don't use but I really don't care too). Why would they trade a good young starter when they're in need of a starter. That wouldn't seem to help them out at all. Santana's a good young pitcher. I don't see the reason you'd move him for Capuano, a worse pitcher. From our perspective, hell yea. I'd trade Capuano+a guy like Escobar for Santana in a heartbeat. I guess it depends on if the Angels feel as though the enourmous splits that come from Santana are so problematic that he should not be in line for a spot in the roatation. It ALSO depends on if they feel as though Capuano is closer to the All-Star form from a couple years ago as opposed to last years version which admittidly wasn't top of the rotation material. Also, I originally said Sheets and I think the Angels would be more than interested in him. If Capuano would be packaged I am sure the package would have to include a prospect that is worth a decent deal.

Well, we are close to booting out an owner as he has not shown up for his last two picks. What we are going is this. We have a ten team leauge, head to head (6x6), and we are in the second year of the league. The roster so far (we are in the middle of the draft) is... Hafner SP-Haren-K SP-J. Santana-K Now here is the deal. We are having a slow message board draft which means each pick needs to be made in a four hour time frame (or earlier). This means you need to be committed to the draft and just pop in for a couple seconds here or there to check if you are up. The draft time runs during thr week from 8-5 but picks can be made off the clock. I'll be honest in the fact that this type of draft is a commitment and it weeds out those who really aren't interested. I will await your PM if interested but we are giving this manager one more chance before the hammer gets laid down.

I am going to Wrigley for the first time ever on Opening Day and will proudly wear my Brewers gear. One thing I don't do is go to Brewer/Cub games at Miller Park. I can't stand it, and I know I am part of the problem, when the Cubs fans cheer. I had a bad enough time during a Twins game and I couldn't even imagine how much my blood would boil if I heard that much cheering for an opposing team.
