    Is Saturday's game nationally televised with Sheets on the mound? If it is, I think that may be a make or break game for Sheets because with a great game it will get the masses talking about him more and although it doesn't come down to fan voting here, LaRussa may be influenced by others in who he picks.

    I enjoy watching softball/baseball of many sorts but I wish they would give the hitters a bigger advantage in women's softball. It gets pretty low scoring in the college level. Also, making them switch pitchers every other game wouldn't be a bad idea either.

    I said at the beginning of the year that the happt jolly Sheets seems like a thing of the past. He seems so determined this year, and he almost seemed like he was on the verge of tears in that interview.

    Brewers are there at every position minus 3B. That shows that the hot start was noriced by many.

    First post in the thread (I think) but I just wanted to vent that this season is becoming dangerously close to a learning season that these guys will talk about next year. You know the variety, Prince will say something like we learned how to deal with tough losses, how to close out games, etc. We have had more than out share of learning experience seasons and with the talent on this team and the lack of talent on other teams, this shouldn't be happening. Hopefully this will be my last post in this thread as I have a very high threshold of what I can take but the weight is starting to make my knees tremble.

    I am hoping that this game is rock-bottom for the rest of the season as I don't think I have seem them play this bad this year (yet).
