  1. Even though he lives in AZ, Yount always still seems like a "Wisconsin guy". Molitor never really did. Yount chooses to come up here often for events (many not publicized) while Molitor does so considerably less and so he seems more detached from the franchise. That's his choice though, and you can't fault him for it. But it does explain the different image each has to the public.
  2. From what I saw, they did. Although part of that I think is that they want a lot of game-used balls for MLB to authenticate and sell down the road, so I saw the ball girls/guys keeping most fouls as well.
  3. Considering WMLW is a subchannel of WDJT, I don't think they'll have enough bandwidth to show 2 HD streams at once without the quality being obscenely bad on both (and the quality WDJT has now is pretty brutal - yesterday's Packers game was terrible). So until WMLW moves to their own standalone digital channel, I'm not expecting any changes.
  4. Game 3 in 2008, the fans were more nervous and everything was very tense. Today, especially after the first inning jitters, it was more like a party. Still way too many people getting up to leave their seats (and returning) during pitches though... have some courtesy for those of us trying to actually watch the game, folks...
  5. Reports on Twitter that preferred parking is already sold out if you don't have a pass.
  6. Looks like the NY/Det game 2 is pushed to Sunday, 2 hours before the Brewers game (which now starts at 4). So both games will overlap for an hour or so.
  7. You actually don't need a pass to park. On the day of the game, parking is $35 for Preferred and $25 for General. Its first come, first served. As long as you get to the parking lot early you will have no problem parking. They already sold a certain number of passes. They aren't going to sell out the lots with cash payers if they have hundreds or thousands of people with passes who haven't arrived yet. They'll likely make an announcement very, very early after they allow a certain amount of non-passholders in that if you don't have a pass, you're SOL to allow for those with pre-bought passes.
  8. And like in 2008, the Packers will likely crush them in the local ratings by at least a 2:1 margin on Sunday...
  9. yep, this is basically what i see.
  10. i have rewinded that 6 times already on the tivo, hahaha
  11. Ok, chase for batting title basically over. Now win the game.
  12. of course it matters. it changes how they play tomorrow completely. would have been nice if arizona played during the day so we knew if we had to win. ugh. can't believe i stayed up for this. i now want them to sweep arizona in the first round, home field or not.
  13. nope. these fun times he's having will be forgotten soon enough.
  14. Search for Miller Park pics on Google Images. You can often find pics of your section in a mostly-empty stadium to see just what might be in the way.
  15. FWIW, I was able to get a pair of Club level aisle seats for all 3 games (we were extremely lucky with the lottery and were selected more than once...). Glad I didn't renew my 20-pack this season as I'd have been stuck in the Terrace nosebleeds most likely.
  16. could have wrapped up home field tomorrow, now we'll likely have to win out.
