    I'm not concerned. If they continue to play poorly enough that the Cards catch them, they would have likely been swept out of the playoffs anyway playing like that. Both scenarios are just as bad in my opinion.

    A non-story that the media will blow out of proportion, especially with the way the team has been playing. I'd rather have Prince be honest like this than give some [expletive deleted] "you never know..." answer giving people false hope. (edit: per language etiquette, removed BS --1992)

    Some thoughts: - Yet another series in Chicago the first week of the season when it could be very cold or snowing. - Cue the endless news stories about people eating meat at the game / while tailgating for Opening Day on Good Friday. - Last few weeks of the season looks reasonably easy, on paper, similar to this year.

    I think I remember them selling "phantom" tickets the following week (along with the certificates). So it's one of those games that 80,000 people claim to have been at, lol. I have pics from a roll of film taken that night as our seats were pretty close to first base and the post-hit celebration.

    The way the offense has been missing in action lately, I'm expecting 1 win, and that win will likely come because of one big inning while they struggle the rest of the game.

    I don't think anyone has to worry about being "the only one" not wearing gold. There will be thousands who aren't wearing it. If you don't have anything and don't want to spend $ on it, you won't feel out of place at all. It's different when they hand out shirts to everyone at the game (like the "white outs" at basketball games), then you might stand, out but this is different.
