TH was awfully blunt in the post-game pressor yesterday, actually being a bit disrespectful by blurting out a sarcastic "yeah, ya think?" in response to Roencike talking about how some guys get anxious and are over-aggressive at the plate with RISP. It was after being directly asked about Gomez and how he has struggled in those spots.

I want to say this is hyperbole, but it's really hard to argue otherwise just based on the eye test.

It's nice when on a hit like that I actually expect it to be caught. No other CF in baseball comes within 15 feet of that ball.

Well, the Brewers sit at 19-21 after the first 40 games of the season. They've played a lot of good teams (7-13 against the Reds, Cards, Phillies and Braves), and bad teams (10-4 against the Bucs, Astros, and Padres). All in all, even considering all of the injuries it's been a slightly disappointing start to the season. Things are looking up though after a 5-1 homestand and a mostly healthy lineup. Split this quick 4 game West Coast trip and then go 6-3 against the Rocks, Nats and Giants, and the Crew will be 27-26. Again, that's on the optimistic end, but it's pretty reasonable too.

I saw the two bloops but missed the Alvarez single. Was it hit hard? Giving up runs is never a good thing but those last two hits were garbage, so it's not too concerning.
