    Shrug. I thought it was really smooth...and I usually HATE booth interviews. Like, I turned the volume off for Snoop Dogg the other day even though he is the smoothest guy on earth. I just thought it was stupid.

    All of the RISP futility, yet the Brewers still look far more competent than the Blue Jays at the plate.

    Not that it wasn't ugly, but the worst/ugliest baseball is bad defense, stupid baserunning and terrible situational pitching (walking guys that should be pitched to and grooving pitches to guys that should be pitched around). It wasn't so much that tonight, it was just getting beat.

    Tobias Myers seems better than he is...I know that doesn't make sense. Seems to have lots of movement and always around the corners...but the results aren't there...yet...

    When was the last time he's mentioned his "pocket doppler"?😄 Nearly every summer night as a kid in the 90s I'd shoot hoops in our driveway and listen to Ueck call the games on WJMC 96.3 out of Rice Lake through the rolled down windows on our Taurus station wagon. Whenever there was threatening weather he'd dial up his pocket doppler to see what it said. As the smart phone/internet age matured I've thought how hilarious this is/was, as literally almost everybody on earth can now pull up the weather radar from their "pocket doppler"/cell phone whenever they like.

    Yucky series...but honestly it could have been a lot worse. This is a good Brewers team.

    It wouldn't have mattered. It was a close play at the plate where the defense made a fantastic play (blocking the plate) to get Contreras by an eyelash. Had Contreras stayed at 3rd, the Phillies make a super routine throw to first to get the out by 3 steps....and Hoskins STILL pops out to SS to end the inning. The reward to score there WAY outweighs the risk in going. If Contreras is safe, it is 2-1 AND there is STILL ONLY ONE out!

    Rickey Henderson led the league in caught stealing 5 times...the amount of outs means nothing in a vacuum.

    Once a guy is on the 40 man, then a team can choose to use him at will...i.e. when he is looking good. The decision to put a guy on the 40 man isn't to be taken lightly, however. If there are alternatives, then usually those alternatives should be used, e.g. Ashby.
