  1. So, I guess the washed-up-veteran vs. the best-player-on-the-planet is better than the AA-call up vs. Yelich. On the road. clap-clap-clap.
  2. 4 straight pitches....yikes. He must like the lefty-lefty matchup🙃
  3. Yelich's contract is somehow both the worst/best thing Stearns ever done...
  4. Wow. Chourio BBs after down 0-2. I like it.
  5. I'd complain about Keuchel's BBs, but I'm afraid what would happen if he throws it in the zone (to the Dodgers).
  6. Haase is gonna go deep this game.
  7. Turang has to have the highest BA on balls hit under 90 MPH in the league. It's awesome.
  8. I think you should make a running log of all your posted feelings and see how correct your are. This would actually be a hilarious BF.net endeavor, considering the data is all there sitting in front of us in the IGT archives. At the end of the year somebody should tally up all the "predictions" and/or "bad feelings" and see how correct those posters are (i.e. Nothing personal to you in particular....it's a common trait here in the IGT). HINT: I would read that BF article...and I can't say I've read many BF articles...
  9. Sitting Monasterio and Contreras makes it the epitome of Sunday lineups? Mitchell in for Frelick is a wash... Capra for Monosterio is a meh....IF Bauers and Frelick were in for Yelich and Hoskins...then it could be white flag territory...
  10. I've avoided commenting or even really thinking about this...but it's time. That gross feeling in the stomach after Phillips gets a call vs. Mitchell that was 3 inches outside and Hoby gets screwed on the should have been K. It's just gross. But as has been said, it's 1 game out of 162.
  11. Well, nice job by Hoby striking out Freeman looking. Everything else is under protest after that.
  12. Hudson has must have some bad mojo in LA.
  13. He was cruising on the single though...I don't think it's a broken toe--which basically means it's fine.
  14. Had that wall scraper been caught he would have a pretty good outing. But it wasn't.
  15. Civale is the anti-Brewer pitcher. 3TO pitcher with one of the best defenses in baseball behind him.
  16. I'm guessing it's because his neck is goofy and doesn't twist to the left w/o pain. Of course that means he should prolly be on the 10 day IL. This team is deep enough where they shouldn't need to force it...
  17. To repeat myself....I'll be shocked if 5 runs is enough to win this game...
  18. I don't think it was the rule, just terrible application of the rule. As Rottino said, you have 3 feet on each side of "the baseline" which is undefined anyway... costs the Brewers a run. Umps always let a guy avoid a tag within reason....this one wasn't even close to egregious...just a quick sidestep.
  19. I'll be shocked if 3 runs are enough to win. I am coming around to liking your schtick though. 50-34 is better than pretty good, so keep it up!
  20. Haase? He's a 6 year vet. 224 hits.
  21. The organization--and many fans--consider perennially competing and often winning division titles as fulfilling the frequent proclamations of the front office as trying to compete. They HAVE, in fact, followed through nearly every single year on their proclaimed intentions. That's the way many of us see it. That obviously isn't the way you see it, because you would rather them try big one year and be bad for 5 years--whether that one year they go for it works out or not (and it probably won't).
