  1. I dont hate Ishikawa. I feel like hes just a scapegoat as the 25th man.
  2. 80 grade FB and 4 plus pitches Id give out 2 or 3 80 FBs to starting pitchers right now
  3. haha Japan is going to be laughing at american outfielders tomorrow http://i.minus.com/iJ4yX35BKYDvW.gif
  4. I agree, although Aramis had a good day, so he might be getting started. A 2/3 day and his average is still sub 200 though, so he does have a bit of catch up to do.
  5. [sarcasm]So what would we get if we traded Corey Hart?[/sarcasm]
  6. If you can get Hart's numbers to play at the 5th spot, I really think you keep him there. The only reason (to me) you don't bat Hart 5th is if you want him to see more fastballs in front of Braun or something.
  7. stadium looks half empty ***: I'm not paraphrasing ESPN here: "he got off on a technicality" "he was a cheat that got away with it"
  8. Going for .500, 2-2 I'm feeling good about Marcum today. I was looking at his splits by month, he was really good last April, but for career, he really shines in May, and then gets worse every month FIP [pre]April/March 4.06 May 3.26 June 4.43 July 4.63 August 5.05 Sept/Oct 4.26[/pre]
  9. Who would be better hitting 2nd? Hart at 2 and Gamel at 5? Not crazy about Gomez hitting there but not many choices.
  10. Who would be better hitting 2nd? Hart at 2 and Gamel at 5? Not crazy about Gomez hitting there but not many choices.
  11. Well 1-2 years ago he was telling KC fans he wanted to be traded
  12. I wish this game had been on TV, I like watching prospects like Skaggs
  13. There is a big difference in their playoff success which will probably play a big role here
  14. For some reason I dont think the Cards will have a bench full of 300 hitters
  15. There will probably be 3 85 game winners when you consider the Astros and Cubs will balance it out so much. Also the Pirates to a lesser extent.
  16. If teams want to walk Braun and throw strikes to Aramis and Hart, I will be fine with that 90% of the time
  17. There isnt much better than club options with low buyouts. I only wish there were more.
  18. This doesn't surprise me all that much. The quote about his pitch framing equivalent to an all star bat seemed like it was a cherry picked stat at best, and something that would be unreliable to quantify. Also thanks for posting more than the CS percentage, because that has the same flaws as something like fielding percentage (errors).
