One hop into the glove close to the ground is ideal. Not a lot of guys can throw it in the air to home middle deep in the outfield. At least not accurately. That Schafer guy did over the weekend. You know him, the prospect who's blocked because we signed Gomez to an extension.

Well...that might be a minor issue, but the real reason is that Melvin and Roenicke didn't have an MLB-ready #3 first baseman after #1 and #2 went down. #1 went down in January and #2 went down at the beginning of Spring Training. So yeah I guess us fair weather fans who expect the GM to address a team weakness in all of 5-6 weeks are just unreasonable. I mean we're just the Milwaukee Brewers, how could we possibly do something in 5-6 weeks when other teams can take, well, hours to do the same thing. -
Does the 1B HAVE to bat 6th in Ron's World? I know Gomez has started out slow, but can't the CF or a SS bat 6th/7th? Really?

Apparently there's 50,000 copies of the first pressing in 1992, would it be that impossible to find with those numbers? I think Uek bought all of them for family, friends and stalkers. I can imagine all of them being out of circulation...

Valverde is still available. Want a roller coaster closer. He's it, but at least valverde just walks people and lets up an occasional hit, while axford gets the occasional out....
