    In recent transaction news, Ned Yost has been fired as manager of the Brewers. His hat, however, is now inked to a 4-year deal.

    I'm not sure where Riske's first pitch registered, but it looked like an old Turnbow fastball..was surprised to see it.

    unbeknownst to Hall, all the names in the hat were "Hall"s. Nah, Ned couldnt have come up with that, nevermind. Glad to see Ned is getting smarter about making decisions, however. With this new approach, we can expect to see a 50% probability of him doing the right thing. Comparatively speaking, you gotta like those odds.

    if the Brewers need a LH bat, I expect Iribarren and Branyan to get their shots at it. Definitely serviceable options.

    Gwynn was not going full speed. He should have reached on error. He did make up for it last inning by a great jump on line drive, robbing a single.

    soup is doing a great job with his pitch count once again. It would be nice to give the pen another breather.

    I dont know that no outs is a great time to stretch a double into a triple. You have an extremely high likelihood of scoring with no outs and a man on second.

    Sorry fondy, Good story but I had to bump it after tonight. Prince's first dinger came on a 1-2 fastball clocked at 92 off one of the best lefty's in the game (previous pitch was 93mph). Prince's second dinger came on a 1-2 changeup vs same pitcher (previous again pitch was 93mph)

    the only problem is that all 60 innings go to 3 or 4 of the 8 bullpen ams

    good trade. Gross was out of options and gone anyways. May as well pick up some pitching potential in the process of dumping a player who was far down the depth chart permanently. Iribarren showed he was a better lefthanded option of the bench if need be. Gwynn and Kapler can hit on par and can field better. Gwynn is younger with more upside. Gross' time was up and in a few years we will have forgotten his name.

    No, I don't think it's Ned's fault.. I really do think Gagne should be able to go 162 straight games warming up or pitching. I don't see a problem there.

    keep trotting out gagne...eventually his arm has to get better, right? 4 straight save chances, then warmed him up yesterday..today is the 6th straight now..

    if not for the cards swinging at pitches over the middle of the plate, I doubt we could find this ump's strike zone.

    Riske hasn't been the same since He was doing back-to-back-to-back a couple times earlier in the month. That's what happens when you fall in love with 3 pitchers and forget about the rest. The 3 pitchers get worn out and the other 3 get rusty.

    Yost would do it just out of spite for everyone questioning him. I could totally see it.

    Dear FSN, I like what you have been doing to your broadcast, but the lack of cloud coverage has been disappointing. I think the shots of the fans in the stands and the whole "guess where the ball is" thing makes the action more exciting, keep it going. It's full count and there's the pitch and just as so you see player about to swing, SURPRISE! It's a 300-lb whale in the stands with his butt crack hanging out! LOVE IT!! Get's me every time! But what I really think is missing is random shots of the sky. Let's set the stage. Ninth inning, an 0-2 count to Prince, the crack of the bat, back goes Duncan, way back! And then wham! Hit them with some nice cirrus shots, maybe a passing blimp or a shot of Bud Selig. Thanks for your consideration

    My Dish feed has been great as far as glitches go, but the camera work is atrocious per usual
