Green at 3rd would have made it perfect. This is good enough though . 1-0 for today Brewers.

Kotsay really has stepped up when asked much of the year. Sure he isn't going to put up Braun numbers or even Hart numbers...but he has been a positive influence on this club.

I still hold a glimmer of hope that winning a World Series with his buddy Rickie would go a long ways............Now if only they won the World Series..

Wait...so in 2008 on my birthday.. the Brewers fire Ned Yost. This year....Prince Fielder decides it is his last year. Talk about a 180.

Don't know where to post this. But would it be better if the Cardinals somehow overtook the Braves (but obviously not the Brewers) and won the Wild Card? The Crew would then get to play Arizona and home or away I would like the odds.

Is it just me or am I the only one disappointed we don't get to see Ed Sedar in this lol.

I'm a huge Casey fan/supporter but even I wanted to see Taylor Green today. This needs to be a darn near 50-50 platoon the rest of the way.

Wolf twice against the Braves in an interesting out of the box idea...but I don't see them doing it.

Brewer or Twin game late September . She is a lawyer . Not a bad "girl" to dupe.

Braun is just stealing more bases to hamper Fielder's MVP chances. He realizes if he steals 2nd base than opponents will more likely walk Prince . This will decrease his RBI numbers and make it look like Braun is the true MVP.

Just saying to djoctagon that is my playoff roster on MLB 2k11. Braddock/Narvey would have been a very good combo because of vastly different styles. Too bad about ZB . Oh well , Brewers just swept the Braves and are now lookin at Philly. Only pitcher to not pitch in the series was Marcum. Kotsay had a big walk off win for Game 1 of the series too lol

I just think Melvin is absolutlely blowing it if he doesn't acquire a lefty for the playoffs to go with Narveson. Need to make that happen . Gamel up before September would be a good thing too.

This is huge (no pun intended). I think it comes down to Baltimore/Chicago/Anaheim and Milwaukee. (St Louis is getting Pujols back).

http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gifI'd be more than ok with a split ..........unless the team wins game 1

This is my first year ever doing fantasy football (I've thoguht it was dorky for quite sometime but I wanna win some $$) . Anyway did I just nail this draft ? 12 team league this is my team. Team Name: Brett Favre, Team Photographer QB: Brees, Kolb RB: Lesean Mcoy, Ryan Matthews, Darren Sproles Wr: Fitzgerald, Boldin, Bryant, AJ Green, Shipley TE: Gates, Miller, Watson Defense: Chargers, Vikings K: Billy Cundiff For a 12 team league drafting 8th I think I did very well.

Brewers cannot let Philly get him . A postseason bench of ... Kottaras, Gomez, Thome, Kotsay, Hairtson, Lopez/Counsell looks solid. I would use September to get a good look at who would be a better fit between Lopez and Counsell. Switch hitter off the bench looks really good and Counsell has basically been ex'd out with Thome and would be buried with two lefties on the bench in front of him . First lets see if Melvin has the stone toget Thome.

I've also been in situations where I literally was screamed at by the rightful owners to the seats like the kinda screaming you do at someone that killed your cat or something.
  18. FoxyFoxes
I think they use Wolf as a starter in the playoffs and go with Narveson and Braddock as the lefties. That would work for me.

correction around here i guess you have to say "Marry me Tube Top WOMAN"

I think RRR is actually doing the best he can with what he has for 2b options . The key comes down to Casey being more like last year and less like the first few months of this year. I don't expect .280 out of him but I think we can expect .260 (opposed to .230). I think whenever you can play small ball with the 2b up like sac bunts you have to do it.
  21. FoxyFoxes
Ya you were on with the Casey thing but Hart has been just fine all season.
  22. FoxyFoxes
Is telling someone they have no idea what they are talking about condecending? I agree with the opinion that the Brewers should bring up Green but nobody is "Wrong" in their opinions guys. If i wanted stuff like that I would go to the boards on jsonline.
  23. FoxyFoxes
Wonder if that home run call would be deemed unclassy in St Louis?
  24. FoxyFoxes
I know the series is over and done but hear me out. I found this on the wonderful interweb and it relates to someone asking if they could bring a "FASTBALL" or "CURVEBALL" sign to the ball game without risking being kicked out. Turns out a couple Jays fans had signs like that. Why would Miller Park be any different? Therefore it is my expectiation to see some signs like that in the next series at home. What's with the football music on FOX every inning? It actually doesn't feel right.
