I think we see Hairston at short once Yuni inevitably slows down . For now it is a good bat to have off the bench over Counsell or Wilson. Let's get the series win today! Too bad about last night but ya can't win em all. this is a big swing game today.

I giggled like a little school girl when he bumped him once.....twice. and spit. then yelled "GOOD". even if they lose this game it might come out even if Molina is suspended 4-5 games. That is a semi serious statement. Molina is a good catcher ...just a lunatic. This is what scared me about getting MOrgan early this year....I don't want a nut on my team. Only team I want a nut on is the Packers so we can turn him lose at linebacker and inflict some pain on the qb.

So many good priceless things from this thread! I love the sausage haus picture that was amazing. As for girls...as long as they are 18 right ? lol. More importantly. I am a guy and I will explain my screen name. Two years ago I finally succumbed to joining fantasy baseball with some buddies after ridiculing it for years. I was given the name Foxy Foxes...After my last name and my sneaky pranks in highschool. People I know call me "foxy" . So i guess it stuck. Doesn't hurt I've won both years I was in so far either. 250+ dollars each time when only paying 25 isn't a bad pay out . So it might be a girly nickname but that is where it comes from.

I dont know who they will have up but I would hope they carry the max 40 players. Any little edge you can find has to be exposed.

JH should play 4 games a week.... 3 at short 1 in center......and more in center if there is more leftys on the mound. I think you roll with MCghee at this point and spot start Lopez/Wilson/Counsell and 2nd. It isn't great but it is what we have. MAybe even plug in Counsell Wilson or lopez at short. When weeks get back and that fulltime position is filled then plugging in a few guys for two spots (and really only one because McGhee will be given chances) isn't gonna be that difficult. Also realize Weeks won't be back until September so a roster decision won't need to be made at that time . Same for Gomez. Gomez's return also should mean JH's use in center won't be AS necessary although still a nice option. Barring injury to a big pitcher, Braun Fielder or Hart this team sets up nicely with it's depth. I'm excited. Now for a lefty for the pen in August. -
He taken a beating tonight and it is a day game after a night game. I like Lucroy and value him being there for the team at the end of September. I would be one of those managers that would really be careful with my catchers though. Hopefully come September he can get some full days off with Rivera's potential call up.

At least it didn't say Unknown on the big scoreboard. THAT would have been funny. Let's go Loe give the big boys another night off. I'd also consider giving Lucroy a day off tomrrow but I know that won't happen.

My lineup when Weeks returns. Morgan Hairston Braun Fielder Weeks Hart McGhee Lucroy Bench: Lopez Kotsay Gomez Counsell/Wilson Kottaras Bullpen: Axford KRod Saito Hawkins Loe (LEFTY) Estrada Rotation: Greinke Gallardo MArcum Wolf NArveson. This team makes the playoffs.

Same lineup as last night but with Hairston in for Morgan. GAllardo can pound the zone against these guys. I see 8 innings out of Yo tonight with an Estrada appearance. Save the big gunners in the bullpen for St Louis if all possible.

We likely won't have to make a decision to drop a player until the playoffs if it happens because theres almost no way Weeks is back before rosters expand. Gomez I am unsure of as well . September will be full of 30-32 guys that can contribute and it will be needed if the team is to take the division. Getting ahead of myself a bit maybe but it is fun that it is realistic.

Like the move. Think they are done but would love for Wilson or Counsell to be dropped for Furcal yet. It would be worth the injury risk to acquire him for small pieces of possible. If not , a lefty has to be coming still right? Hairston and Lopez and even Kotsay on the bench when Weeks returns really looks nice. So far so good Doug.
