  1. Just curious if you're watching on the mlb package. I only ask cause I just realized the other day that you can choose whose broadcast you get. So after a year of listening to whatever broadcast I got, I finally can hear MY guys. Maybe everyone already knew this and I'm just the lone idiot. Actually I did not know this... Does it matter if you have the basic or premium package? I usually just listen to whatever pops up... In this case I have really enjoyed the Indians announcers! They have been a joy compared to most!
  2. Maybe he forgot what to do... It's been a while since he has hit one that far...
  3. It doesn't make sense other than that he only went 1 2/3 innings his last start in MIlwaukee
  4. Especially considering it was Hafner running. Wouldn't even had been an issue if Gallardo didn't suffer from Manny Parra syndrome after giving up th HR! No excuse for all the walks...
  5. Cliff Lee looked REALLY good tonight...
  6. The cost of Cliff Lee may be on the rise!!!
  7. Salome is strating to catch fire!!
  8. The price may be going up as we speak, but Cliff Lee would be soooo nice!
  9. Jeffress shows progress here as he didn't completely fall apart... He even came back with 3 more scoreless innings! He still needs to cut down on the walks!
  10. Brewers included! ok ok that was said out of sheer frustration with todays loss...
  11. So what you want us to do is trade for A-Rod? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gifThat is great! Classic!
  12. Free falling!!!!!!!!!!!! No way I expected the Brewers to lose 5 of 6 on this homestand....
  13. Good thing we no longer are an American league team... We would be well under .500 by the looks of it!
  14. The main reason that I feel the Brewers need to make a move is to protect Yo... Coming off a season mostly lost to injury, we are now going to depend on him going 200+ innings? As great as he has been it would only be natural for him to hit a wall sometime in September especially if we are going to be using a four man rotation over the next month or so... I know he will still be pitching on 4 days rest, but I can't help but think that an extra day off here and there would do him wonders! Yo is still so young I don't want to risk burning him out just as some have suggested the Brewers did with Manny last year! We need to get him some protection!
  15. My guess is that Naverson is up to provide relief for the bullpen until the next start in which Manny was slated for... At that time they could send Naverson back down and bring up Dillard... Dillard is pitching tonight so he would be on track to take Manny's next start... With Dillard pitching tonight, no need to call him up since he won't be able to pitch over the next few days...
  16. I sure hope that Dillard gets pulled from his start tonight in Nashville... After the pen gets exhausted today we may need him for insurance tomorrow!
  17. No need to get worked up... Just Manny being Manny... Do we really expect anything different?
  18. Agreed! MLB.com blacks it out as well. It sucks cuz we get the Yankees/Mets on Fox out here in Arizona!
  19. Let me just say that while I respect TH because the life of a beat writer isn't easy, the difference between Adam McCalvy and TH as night and freaking day.Very, very true! There is a reason that my order for recieving the latest Brewer news is as follows: 1) Brewerfan.net 2) MilwaukeeBrewers.com 3) JSonline.com/sports
  20. Just saw the highlight of that... Unreal!
  21. If the trade is for Peavy, then I am sure that Hardy won't be a part of it... San Diego is looking to cut payroll and rebuild which is why they are looking to unload Peavy... Any deal for Peavy will be about prospects... Hardy now has some cost to his salary with just 1 more year before free agency...
  22. Posted on MLBtraderumors.com http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/06/first-rounder-eric-arnett-agrees-to-deal-with-brewers.html
  23. That may be true but my point is that another team will definately give up a better deal to get Cain... SF won't trade Cain for Hardy straight up, they just won't... I wouldn't if I were in their position either...
