Yo with a 2 out, 2 RBI, single!!! Raises his BA back above .300!!! I can't wait until he gets his chance to hit in Milwaukee!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
The one consistent, high quality, baseball item, that this brewer fan can count on... The daily link report!!! Thanks Mass!!! Yo is 0-2 today, dropping his BA to .364!!! (although he did knock in a run!!!)
I don't get having Carroll pinch run there either... Why not have him pinch hit the previous inning instead??? Carroll is hitting over .300... Instead they sent up Gonzales (.232) and Piedra (.192)...
Dennisfrancis, being here in Arizona, I always like to follow and wish the best to any Arizona connections... I actually live a stones throw away from CGCC... Dennis has been a favorite of mine for sometime... I hope he gets his chance in Milwaukee and makes the most of it!!!!
I do like the fact the Sarfate has only issued 1 walk in each of his last two outings (11IP, 12H, 3ER, 2BB, 9K)... I really would like to see him in Milwaukee at some point...
Any idea why Yo! went less than 5, the game log didn't specify the conditions of his early exit? ERA still 0.00 btw. 5 strikeouts and 5 walks in less than 5 innings usually means a high pitch count... That would be my guess as to why Yo was removed after 4 2/3...
I recall attending Mark Rogers first start here in Arizona a few years ago... He pitched only 2 innings... I do believe they are on a strict pitch count... Please remember that these games (in Arizona) are played in late morning/ early afternoon when the tempatures are near 100-105 degrees... The fields are basically high school type fields without much shade...
Yo last pitch on the 9th of June... Hammond last pitched on the 14th of June... Either he is hurt or he is already on his way to Huntsville (a spot needed to be opened for Alliston to be activated yesterday)... My guess is that he is already on his way to Huntsville... Edit: Yo pitched an inning on Saturday (All Star Game)... I doubt he is hurt...
I am thinking it is Yo... He last pitched on the 9th of June... Hammond (who is scheduled tonight) last pitched on the 14th of June... Other than injury I don't understand why the would skip Yo in the rotation with so much riding on tonight's game... He must already be on his way to Huntsville...
Nothing against Steve Hammond, but I would have really liked to see Yo on the mound for BC tonight... He has had plenty of rest since his last start (other than 1 inning in All Star game)... Then we could have seen Rogers on Wednesday (he last pitched on Thursday)...
We need a HUGE performance from Sheets tomorrow night!!! We will chat with everyone tomorrow night!!! Maybe we can even get along!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
