  1. Of course Rickie gets a double when Braun and Fielder are retired in order.
  2. They may have been the first back-to-back 1,2,3 inning for the Brewers this postseason. Is that accurate?
  3. But the TBS Pre-Game said they have like 4 closers and the bullpen is a sign of TLR's genius. I'm confused. Well they have four closers, much like the Astros have four aces.
  4. Pretty confident about about Friday. Just keep it under 5 runs through the first 7 innings and it's game over. They'll do their job.
  5. I think the booing for close pitches might be Montero's fault. The joker frames pitches that are in the dirt. He shifts his glove to the dead middle of the plate too.
  6. Gomez and Yuni having good games, that's always nice to see. Also, I can't stand these 'fans'. Not selling out a playoff game? Then booing every 30 seconds for no apparent reason? They don't even have decent uniforms to stand behind. Those black unis are hideous (not as bad as Colorado's black pullover).
  7. I think that was the first 1-2-3 inning of the night of both teams.
  8. The bottom of the 3rd inning totally deflated me. I still felt pretty good at 5-1, but after cutting it to 2 and having momentum... then to have it right back at a 4 run game is incredibly frustrating. I can't see the Brewers winning this game at this point. They've shown a complete inability to get a 1,2,3 inning in this series.
  9. Gibson is the idiot who pitched to Fielder twice in obvious walk situations, as well as left his reliever in for 6 hits.
  10. This is really pathetic. Wolf has been behind nearly every batter, but has managed to throw some gimmies down the middle in the worst possible moments.
  11. How many 1,2,3 inning have the Brewers had in the past 3 games? I believe they didn't have any in game 2, and only had a couple in game 3... haven't had one tonight.
  12. The DBacks can barely sell out their playoff games, I doubt there's more than three people posting on a Diamondbacks board.
  13. This really cheered me up. Edit: Wolf puts up the first scoreless inning of the game!
  14. Wolf just wanted to show he still has it. He walked the pitcher on purpose to get the double play.
  15. At this pace we'll score 9 runs. Unfortunately they'll score 40.
  16. Not over yet. 8 innings to put up 4-5 more runs is possible. Pitching needs to lock it down.
