    If you are going to fire some one you need to look at the players first, i know Yost has made some bad decisions, but he isnt walking 4-5 guys in the first couple innings or kicking the ball around the infield. What is going to change if they fire him.

    A couple things bother me, -the little girls that take the running start and just slap the ball into the ground, for some reason that just seems bush. -This goes for little league too, after a strike out they go running back to the dugout, i dont want them to throw a hissy fit, but you can act somewhat disappointed. -I would say all of the lame chants and hug fests in the game, but College baseball has the same thing too.

    I watched American Ninja 3 this morning before work, my god that is the worst acting and stunts i have ever seen. -Ninja throws a star to knock the gun out of the heros hand from 20' away -after stabbing a guy the hero looks at him and just yells "die!!!!" -Two ninjas fire arrows, the hero catches each arrow in flight, does a summersault and throws, yes throws the arrows and kills the two ninjas.

    I gave my notice this morning, somewhat regretting it because everyone here is pissed(saddened) that i am leaving. I really hope this new place works out.

    needing money isnt an issue right now, house paid off. Just greedy i guess. Its a longer office, think wider then deep. He would be on one side i would be on the other. about 10' apart. I think he is only in there half the day. The work would be the same with some more indepth dimensions added in.

    This may sound stupid, but the biggest reason i havent jumped on this, is that i dont want to have to quit the current posistion i have. The people that i work with are really nice, plus i have only worked here for about 6 months.

    Do i take the faster career path with more money but more work and less freedom or do i stay with the slower paced job that i will get to the same place as the other just years later, but have more freedom(to peruse Brewerfan during the day).

    I currently have a nice job where i like what i do and enjoy the people i work with. A family friend offered me a posistion with the company he works for(competing companies). Here is the break down. The current posistion is really easy, i really only do about 10-15 hours of work a week and spend the rest of the time on the internet. Pros- $1 more an hour, with another in 2 months. 2 weeks paid vacation(paid back if not used), 6 sick days(paid if not used). Health insurance the same across the board but i would be paying 300 less a month. Faster career path here too. Half the distance, 10 minutes versus 20-25. Cons- Bigger company, would have to share an office compared to having my own. No idea if i will be able to listen to the radio, have the freedom i have at my current posistion. I have been going back and forth for the last couple days, need a couple more opinions.

    Gymkata- i thought i was the only one that has seen that movie. First saw it at like 3 in the morning when i was a kid and tried to stay up as late as i could. Still have no idea what the hell the movie was about. Any Troma Film, Toxic Avenger, Terror Firmer etc. The Kentucky Fried Movie and Amazon Women on the Moon, fav movies to this day. My whole Steven Segal collection. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and the Sequel(debut of George Clooney) - The theme song is up there with RBI Baseball with songs that you cant get out of your head.

    Let me qualify this by saying that i think dog fighting is disgusting. cockfighting ok, because with the loser everyone wins with dinner;) . To piggy back the previous post. This could be the same argument for hunting. IF you dont grow up around it then you are going to have a different opinion.     So you want to trade your second best pitcher(who is under contract), a decent young reliever, you best option to fill into the rotation and your future starter in the outfield for a aging reliever and a knuckleheaded outfielder that may be good eventually.

    One thing you have to look at too is that OBP is a more important stat for different players. You are more concerned about RIckie Weeks OBP then you are with Bill Hall. Each player has a different role in the lineup and thus they're OBP will reflect that.

    i listened to that and i was getting pissed at the morons calling. They couldnt get it through they're heads that OBP takes your BA into account. Some moronic quotes being "well walks dont win games" "its not like they are going to walk the basesloaded and the walk in a run, you want a guy up there that is going to hit"

    dont forget about the two base running mistakes. Counsel getting thrown out at third cost the crew a run. Why he is trying to steal third with no body out it beyond me.

    The real reason they lost last night was Baserunning. You have two players thrown out at home. The "double steal" with your clean up hitter at the plate was just dumb, BA said it worked the day before but in reality it didnt, yes they scored but that is just because there was a bad call by the ump. The slash play sending Graffy into motion. Bill Hall getting thrown out at home is the only understandable play last night.
