bjkraut just think what might have been: Nomar drafted out of high school in 91 by the Brewers but doesn't sign: Nomar goes #12 in first round in 94 by Boston after Milwaukee takes Antone Williamson #4! Thanks Sal for taking your Ariz St homer pick!

Just got out of the Hilton "Water Park" leaving my family behind with the Crew ahead 5-0. What a treat. Now is it my fault the Marlins are now hitting? Way to pitch Ober with your major league life on line. Congrats and thanks. Now come on Adams!

That should be it for Wes Helms!

Two pop ups and a K! The new Dan Kolb! That's two in a row! Whoo hoo and now less than a day and a half til Whistling Straits!

OK Danny time for a rebound vs the heart of Fla's lineup!
  14. RoseBowlMtg
Wow right handed bench warmers who put the ball in play! What a genius Ned is!
  15. RoseBowlMtg
3rd time thru the lineup oh oh!
  16. RoseBowlMtg
How about that hustle! Way to go Craig! Way to follow up Billy!
  17. RoseBowlMtg
I hope Pods is watching how the first two Fla hitters hit the ball on the ground which puts pressure on the infield. How many two-three hoppers have gotten those guys on base. Great baseball imo!
  18. RoseBowlMtg
OK Danny, a contact pitcher vs a slap hitting contact team. Let's see you win this battle Danny. How about a defensive substitution at 3rd!
  19. RoseBowlMtg
Wow 7-9 with 4 HR's against that pitcher. Clutch!
  20. RoseBowlMtg
Almost, good job by Durrington and Helms running 15 of the 18 pitches. Jenkins gets a hit but only one pitch and Pods two and out. That should have been a 25+ inning.

I wonder if this is Overbay's day off and who will play first if it is. Is Ginter ready and along with Counsell and Clark they can wait take some 7 pitch at bats. This is a tough stretch again but they have broken out a couple times lately. Let's start averaging 5 runs a game and take it from there. That's not asking too much is it? Go Brewers!
  22. RoseBowlMtg
Yeah the other end of a shutout! Do you feel it? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. RoseBowlMtg
Make that 7 times in a row for Craig! Who was that who made their first post saying we should get rid of Counsell. Maybe he should check out and see who has the highest ob% for NL SS's. Great job by the Crew tonight!
  24. RoseBowlMtg
So who is going to pitch in Benson's spot tomorrow night? Could this be something good against a team we have had problems with? signs? Helms hits Clark hits with risp Overbay gets a 15 foot RBI Davis gets a hit Counsell gets on 6 straight times and counting! No comment about Maddux yet!
  25. RoseBowlMtg
When Lyle says he needs a rest and so does Yost, why not rest him tonight vs a lefty? He is not driving the ball and they are throwing him more junk than ever. He pulls off of those low slow breaking balls and misses. He needs to drive those to left center and maybe he should take the rest of the weekend off. Not a coincidence imho that the slump corresponded with Overbay's slide. Rest him now! Go Brewers!
