  1. Are there hotties behind Melvin again tonight?
  2. Ned wants consistency for the DH for these 9 games. What a joke considering there's no consistency anywhere else in the lineup! But at least that DH will be set.
  3. Cubs down 8-4 in the 4th. Thank goodness for the NL Central!
  4. This game was supposed to be on FSN, right Not in Milwaukee - Channel 41.
  5. I always forget that they have the Otsuka/Gagne combination at the end. They're starting pitchers must REALLY suck because that's not a bad 8/9 combination.
  6. Whoa. Check out the hottie sitting behing Melvin I guess I missed that! Usually hotties in the stands don't get past me....
  7. SoCal...I'm still up in Hartford scheduled to fly in 5 hours after sitting here all day...the turning point is coming into focus...lets do this!!! I heard it was a little brutal on the east coast today - as someone who travels A LOT, I can sympathize.....
  8. WOW did he smoke that one. I don't think that was ever more than 25 feet off the ground!! Goodness gracious (to quote Bill Schroeder).
  9. This is what we're down to in this game - Schroeder and Anderson laughing about whether or not someone needs "that rib".....
  10. How much good would a managing change mid-season do for such a young team, though? Who could the Brewers get that would do much better? As much as this team needs a shot in the arm, I'm afraid firing Yost mid-season would be like giving up on the season. They'd most likely name Sveum the interim manager and the Brewers would be even worse off. I agree. I'm not advocating a change - just saying that it's probably more possible (albeit slim) than most would believe. And as someone pointed out, Buck Rogers was 25-25 (I think) and I'm sure everyone didn't believe they could find someone mid-season to improve things either.
  11. That's great. Brewers are down 7-1 and now Teixeira (my starting 1B in fantasyland) pulls his groin trying to leg out a single.
  12. I don't see it actually happening, but Yost being fired probably isn't as far-fetched as some people would believe. There's a GREAT chance to win the division this year while others teams are down, so DM may just have to try everything possible to get things done this year.
  13. And as a long time Yost defender, I'm starting to think enough is enough I'm starting to think so, too. But, realistically, I think DM has the patience and will blame this on the team's youth.
  14. I think we're going to need another HR from Fielder here.
  15. Ok, who misses Sutton and his ....."ok, let's get 'em some runs, boys!"?
  16. Foul rings Estrada's bell (again) and he's probably sitting there thankful it wasn't the squash again!
  17. So why do you think Capellan can't throw 96-99 anymore?
  18. I am not going to say a thing. Except...we are a talented team playing garbage baseball. I can't keep quiet and this is the first time I have EVER mentioned this...but if we get swept by this team-Yost should be fired. Don't forget that Buck Rodgers got fired at 25-25 or something after making the playoffs a year before. I just think this team needs a spark and if we get swept by these guys it would make Ned a perfect scapegoat. I've been very critical of some Yost decisions this year, but to this point have been an overall supporter. But, you may have a point if they get swept in Texas. Certainly can't use injuries as an excuse given that Weeks is the only everyday player out (and only for the past 10 days), and we've had our original rotation all healthy and pitching. I may have to agree that maybe his job is in jeopardy a little bit. Let me clarify that I still am not giving up on tonight's game and thus they won't get swept by Texas.
  19. I still think the Brewers are pathetic. They aren't playing any better than the 2002 team. The Rangers are the worst team in the American League. This team can't even be respectable against them. The post season is a pipe dream. Man, I can be pretty sarcastic and point out negatives, but you're downright depressing! They're not pathetic in the general sense. I'm as upset as anyone at how they're playing the last few weeks, but they're way too talented to be pathetic. It is very possible that they're too young and inexperienced to be a playoff team yet.
