  1. Brian, you are correct - not sure what I was thinking there. Even easier to dump Wynegar! How can I forget Dauer?!!
  2. Add Butch Wynegar to the list of those spending their last few days with the Brewers. Way too much talent (not saying it's playoff-ready yet, but still better than they have shown) for him to remain. He's not the one hitting with RISP, but as a team they have just under-performed offensively this year. And when that happens, it's a cruel game. He has to go. Or could they keep him as bench coach and bring in another hitting instructor? He certainly does well with positioning fielders, strategy, etc. Just an idea - not sure if there's much merit to it or not. But he just can't stay on as hitting coach.
  3. Bikeage, are you getting it on mlb.tv in Milwaukee?
  4. Geez. mlb.tv is even blacking out the game in Milwaukee! What's with that? They really don't want us watching, huh?
  5. As of now....... Houston - Florida .5 GB Phili 1.5 GB Wash 3.0 GB NY M 5.5 GB Milw 5.5 GB Chic 6.0 GB Is it too much to hope that we're still in this thing?
  6. With a name like that, you can't really have a baby-face, can you? It sounds like it's from a bad science fiction novel. Can you imagine what he looked like when he was a acne-faced teenager? OK, and now back to the action.....
  7. Look at that curveball......can not hit that one!
  8. It's "Mr. Hardy" to you! Nice insurance run,JJ!
  9. Wow, great bunt. Maybe Eveland should put on a clinic for the rest of the staff during BP on how to bunt! That's how to earn yourself extra innings or a rotation job next year!
  10. Because he's no longer on 'roids, so he tires more quickly.
  11. And I should probably consider pulling Davis an outstanding move by Yost since Sutton and Schroeder both poo-poo'd it.
  12. We'll see...... hopefully Eveland can give us 2 innings, Wise, then Turnbow. No problem. Sure would have liked to have seen some payback for pulling him, though. Just 1 insurance run maybe?
  13. At least we'll get to see that NASTY slider of Eveland's. And it is nasty.........
  14. Wow, stop in the action. I thought that might be you, tomwopat, streaking across the field!!!
  15. Ok, ......what does everyone think about this move? Up by 2 runs, 5th inning, just struck out the side in the top of the 5th, and you pull Davis? 93 pitches. I sure hope this works out!!!! Fielder better jack one.
  16. tomwopat......just think "Body Suit Guy" from Seinfeld.....
  17. Wonderful - double for Clemens. I think he pulled a hammy with that rumble around first! Post-roid baserunning is no fun for a 43-year-old, is it?
  18. Great how Sutton called that one - is he a moron or just a bad announcer? In his mind it was a very routine fly ball....until it went over the freakin' wall! P.S. I guess the post-roid career of Clemens continues, huh?
  19. Oh, no. Davis actually has a lead heading to the top of the 7th............
  20. Ok, the more I see on gameday, the less I want Directv to get their act together. Maybe we don't want the game on.
  21. Honks, wasn't it you who worked their magic last night with Directv?! need some help again today I guess.
