  1. REDS WIN! REDS WIN!
  2. OK Braun, please hit another HR to make up for that one.
  3. Glad to see Mo signed. Sure we could have let him go and pretty much given up on this year with a temp solution at PG, but even then there would be no guarantee we'd be able to sign a top PG in free agency next year. In the awful East, without multiple long-term injuries to the starters, this should easily be a playoff team next year and beyond. Now just get the Yi thing done one way or another (sign or trade) and we'll be good.
  4. Looks like our defensive problems continue even in this game, lol. Now he needs to hit one out of the park to make people forget about it.
  5. You really need to be in Row 1 of that section to see the pitchers warm up in the bullpen because there is a pretty high wall and they warm up right next to the wall. From row 9 you'd probably only see them sitting on the bench by the outfied wall. I think in the field bleacher area, pretty much only the first 3 rows are so are decent. Everything else feels too enclosed because of the loge-level bleachers above you. One nice perk is there are a lot of TVs in the section, which lets you see replays that they don't show on the big board.
  6. Should have got this one today, but I'll take a 4.5 game lead at the break with a relatively easy 10-game homestand coming up. Maybe they'll follow the pattern they've had all year and get hot and have another 9-1 homestand before they start losing on the road again.
  7. I'm in. Thanks.
  8. It's a good think Yo is going to the bullpen as they have lost his last 2 games and need all the help they can get. Ugh.
  9. There you go Yo. Gotta love the return of the clueless Cubs fans at Wrigley going crazy for a flyout when it hits the bat. They do it better than anyone, lol.
  10. Cubs win 10-9. Booooo
  11. Cubs and Cards both win today, as expected.
  12. and like clockwork with Bush, here comes the big inning... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  13. Most likely they'll also let people put down deposits for 2008 season tickets to guarantee playoff tickets this year as well, before the general public would get a chance at any that are left.
  14. I have a bad feeling that this game is going to be one of those games that you look back at in a month or two as the point where things really started going bad. I hope I'm wrong though.
  15. For the few Bucks fans left, they just sent out an e-mail with a new offer: www.nba.com/bucks/tickets...t_One.html Lower level seats (corners) are buy 1 get 1 free for full-season packages. Comes out to either $22 per ticket (face value $50) or $27.50 (face value $60). Besides the B1G1F deal, you also get a free $400 concession stand gift card, free $400 ticket bank to get additional tickets and 10,000 Midwest Airlines FF miles (double that amount if you have a Midewest credit card). They will also cover the just-announced $1 per ticket fee that the Bradley Center is charging for all sports events. Even if you don't want a full season, it's tough to beat the deal itself - split it with friend(s), sell the extras on eBay, whatever.
  16. the 3 worst teams got 4-5-6 and atlanta lucks out and gets to keep their pick
  17. 5-1 Philly after the 6th http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
