  1. What befuddles me even more was the mere fact when Kendall didn't start a few weeks back, Yost used him.
  2. You would think he'd luck into more RBI's than that. Yikes....
  3. LaPorta was a Boras' client.
  4. I guess I miss where the original poster asked a question and didn't say anything about numbers going against us cubsfan? Seems to me there is only one person getting upset.
  5. Danny Almonte? He's still got some age left for the Little League World Series.
  6. Jeez, a what a suprise on the half an hour pose job by Ramirez.
  7. As I stated in another thread, did the sports writer decide to mention about TLR's excuse to pull out the crap he did to kenny Rodgers in 2006?
  8. I was just thinking about the 2006 World Series and the crap the LaRussa did to Kenny Rodgers. What a putz. He's still pulled the biggest choke jobs in World Series history getting his butt handed to him by the Dodgers in 88 and spanked by the Reds in 90.
  9. I hope he's not a first class idiot like Soriano or Fat A. I also think both are horrible defensive players and Fattie Albert throws like an old woman.
  10. And those pointed out Poolhalls made the comments about the MVP and the playoffs. My biggest beef is the Brewers should've swept St Louis the last series if not for some train-wreck, horrific umpiring the botched a couple calls in those games.
  11. My vent is that the Brewers had Monday and today off and a chance to bury the 'birds and Yost waited to get the pen up until Riske had imploded. Has Ned ever heard of getting the catcher and Maddux out to stall? When it comes to the pitching staff, Ned is dumber than Dusty Baker.
  12. Anyone outside of St L and ESPN knows Fat Albert is a whiny fat footed fool. His comment two years ago prove he's the Dirk Nowitski of MLB.
  13. I don't like Berkman. He's a big fat, slow, slob that cries alot. And if his homerun trot could get any slower one could get him a cab to home.
  14. Mike Piazza also got a lot of slap hits. LuCroy is arguably one of the best catching prospects overall the Brewers have had. I guess I am still lost because his defense is better than Salome's.
  15. He was never in the majors with the Brewers so how can you say he performed like a AAAA player?
  16. I forgot to mention how much I can't stand Poolhalls.
  17. I want to know where this slap hitter comment is coming from. The guy has hit 19 homers this year and has a SLG % of .500. His defense is better than Angel's also. I guess I am miffed by your comments and dadofandrew. He's 5th on the prospect list above of the others mentioned.
  18. Why all the hate for Cruz? Last night's game was pretty much Laynce Nix's whole major league career.
  19. And how can you say as stated above that Santana was not included? I know what I heard and it was also on the Old Style Tailgator show. I also remember a thread on here about the same situation a couple years ago.
  20. I hope the Brewers do not put him anywhere near the rotation next year. He missed valuable innings on his arm last year due to his suspension. He needs to be able to continually get his arm stronger with a little bit more increase in innings at AA and AAA next year. I would be terribly upset if we waste another arm due to rushing him up.
  21. I heard it straight from the talk show here in La Crosse on WKTY 580 when it happened. This included speculating comments from Melvin at the time.
  22. Santana was not a minor leaguer and I remember clearly about Santana and the Brewers did not want him(Santana). They wanted a couple minor leaguers in their system.
  23. I don't know where the link is now, but it was reported two years ago but Melvin wanted players ready now. I know you can find it in the MJS where it says Anaheim wanted Lee and was in the running.
  24. Why would they want a potential at best, backup catcher in Lucroy?
  25. We could've had Santana had not Melvin wanted major league players in return for Carlos Lee. If we had Ervin now, this rotation might've won us a few more games.
