  1. This is THE All-Star game not the county parade where we watch people walk. Tell me how many fans are looking to watch McClouth walk to first vs Braun hitting a monster homerun to any field? 2nd, McClouth bats leadoff and the guys job is to get on base. According to the OBP factor, Ric K Weeks is a better choice for the All-Star game over Braun then? Sheesh.
  2. Crabbe was just sent back to the Brewers and being picked in the Rule 5 draft, no? Why would they want him? It's going to take a lot more to give up than junk. It took 3 players to get an average Leinbrink last year.

  5. Anyone trying to rationalize McClouth over Braun based on OBP needs some major help.
  6. Ummm...sorry, but I argued before the season. And if you are telling me he's a better fit at #2 than #6, your hind sight analysis is working well too. Try showing me how many opportunities Prince and Braun have had and you might have some facts to argue with.
  7. Am I missing something? Three guys less deserving are ahead of Braun and are disagreeing with voting for Braun? Yeah, makes logical sense???
  8. Before the start of this year, Cameron had 371 GS(26%) batting in the 6th spot and 294 GS(20%) batting in the 2nd spot. I would not call him a career 6 hole hitter. He had just 82 more games started at the 6th spot than in the 2nd spot. So you are saying he should be batting 2nd then? Obviously when looking at this year stats along with the past proves otherwise. Yost fills out the lineup card, not the players.
  9. Didn't Pujols get injured running out of the batters box? How about a courtesy runner then? Hank the Wank.
  10. So who gets the credit for hitting a career 6th batter second for around 35 games?
  11. Ryan Dempster was a starter albeit a pretty successful one for the Marlins who owned the Brewers. I don't get where it was such a "suprise" the guy could be starter.
  12. Can this be the official trade Bill Hall for anything thread?
  13. I am tired of Ned's excuses. If he's not ready then why isn't Hernan playing especially against RH pitching. Broken record.
  14. Yost brings us down You got the Brewers playing from behind, Your decision making is one of a kind. Yost brings us down, no no no no no, Don't tell us once more, look at the score Yost brings em down. You wanna bat Rickie then Cam. The way they hit, it's such a big sham Yost brings us down, no no no no no no no no, We told before, we want Hall no more Yost brings us down. Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down. What happened to playing to win Your coach like your loaded on gin, Yost brings us down, no no no no no, Look at the score, then show Yost the door Yost brings us down. You're costing us games every other night I wish you would keep Hall and Bush out sight. Yost brings us down, no no no no no, Get him out the door, cos winning's a chore Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down, grroosss Yost brings us down. Some fans have given you too much of a pass, Jeremy, the fans, and Ned smoking the grass. Yost brings us down, no no no no no no no no, Ill tell you once more before I get off the floor Yost brings us down. Wes, Kevin, and more you played every day You never listen to what anyone has to say, Yost brins us down, no no no no no, He's lost it before, I want no more Yost brings us down.
  15. I think there is more competence with officiating in the NBA.
  16. I think playing Bill Hall against RH pitching is more idiotic not too mention with Iribarren up and leaving him as a pinch hitter. Talk about continually wasting a guy then playing one of the worst fielders right now in the NL. Ned just does the dumbest things. I saw where Brewer fans were making fun of Lou for not pinch hitting the Big Shambrano, but he's a better hitter than Hall, Counsell, Gwynn, etc. Yost would've pinch hit for him. I still think of the "This is your brain on drugs commercial" that use to play and Yost every time he does dumb things like bat Hall against RH's with an option up.
  17. I first posted this on the MJS blog tonight after the game. I was just so ticked after listening to the Crew at work and needed some way to vent. Yost Gives Coaching A Bad Name A Shot out of the park and Yost's to blame He gives coaching a bad name David Bush pitching is what you smell He promised you innings then put Yost through hell Oodling of runs given em a Tee Yost claims he's a battler, can't he see? ohhhh....Costing the Crew a ton ohhhh....There's nowhere to run No one can save Ned The damage is done [Chorus:] A Shot out of the park And Yost's to blame He gives coachin' a bad name He Plays his part by mismanaging the game Ned gives coachin' a bad name Ned gives coachin' a bad name A call to the bullpen is on his lips Mota, Gagne, and Turnbow, shoot from the hips A coaches nightmare, just say goodbye Melvin claims he got you help, pick your guy ohhhh....Costing the Crew a ton ohhh....There's nowhere to run No one can save Ned The damage is done [Chorus:] A Shot out of the park And Yost's to blame He gives coachin' a bad name He Plays his part by mismanaging the game Ned gives coachin' a bad name Ned gives coachin' a bad name
  18. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8165 What has this joker done to deserve to even be thought of? 5 homers...average under .300...come on people. Chokedome is a scrub and cub for Pete's sake.
  19. Just some different places about this joker... http://mlb.mlb.com/news/gameday_recap.jsp?ymd=20070707&content_id=2074389&vkey=recap&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/mariners/2008/03/game_track_35.html http://www.examiner.com/x-336-Seattle-Mariners-Examiner~y2008m5d17-Erik-Bedard-The-Master-of-the-Interview http://www.hotstovephilly.com/2008/06/09/bedard-to-phillies-dont-hold-your-breath/ http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/mariners/2008/06/09/the_erik_bedard_dilemma http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2008/06/erik-bedard-spe.html This one is hilarious mocking Cubs fans. BTW, this guy is a putz.
  20. Just reporting what they said. They said he's a guy you do not want in your lockerroom.
  21. The problem with the Cameron signing is batting him 2nd plain and simple.
  22. Jeffress has an amazingly high ceiling. I wouldn't trade him straight up for Roberts. Considering he struck 10 even with the runs he just gave up again, I totally agree with you.
  23. I asked the same thing about 2 months ago. I am not sure but he would be worth a look since Weaver is getting rocked at AAA.
  24. Bedard is a first class jerk. I was listening to the Dan Patrick show the other day and they were talking about his attitude towards the media. No thanks.
