  1. I will classify those as never going to happen. Weeks is bad. CC will not get consistent run support. Gagne needs to join Turnbow.
  2. Can we all quit talking about Weeks ability and potential? How many games does that win vs performance? This guy may have "potential" but will it ever show?
  3. An arm for the BP? How about 4 new arms. Shouse has been brutal. Mota stinks and Gags?
  4. I just had to say this since I am becoming more frustrated with the umpiring every day. The Brewers have had some horrible calls in recent weeks and throughout the year. Watching Cubs games this year, I have never seen 4 guys trying to give a team wins. Has this gotten as bad as the NBA where we need to try and get those "Big market" teams in? No wonder why Mark Cuban was looking to buy the Windy City Cheaters.
  5. Again, another misfit calling balls and strikes tonight...
  6. Creole Carlos Marmalade is very overworked and with Hardin on your team, he'll be pitching those games, you can bet. Keep doing it Lou!!!
  7. Right now I am liking Prince moved somewhere more and more every day. I would give Nelson a chance to start at 1st. Please no more Billy Hall throwing errors at 3rd. His defense is nearing that of Braun from last year. Nelson's OBP and defense might balance out under Prince but you could get a lot in return. Nelson might be able to drive in some more runs than Prince has left on base at this point. You could get a solid starter in return so the loss would not hurt. Move Hall for anything at this point if possible. I am hoping he gets hot with his bat so he has some worth to end the season. I just wish the Brewers would've dealt him to end this past year especially since he was in rumored deals with St. Louis.
  8. I would love to see him play first at this point over Prince with him being dealt w/ some players in return at this point. Nelson's defense alone might have saved us 2 wins this year.
  9. Is Corey Koskie available to play some D at 3rd? Hall is just killin' me... Can't play center...can't play at 3rd.
  10. I thought they addressed the outside corner crap some time ago along with low strike. Amazing that Bud Selig and his cronies turn the cheek. I mean start addressing these things that there are rules on. I am in management and when someone does not do what they are supposed to they get a private discussion. The next thing is a letter of warning and so on.... Production has increased because accountability is being enforced. Now, employees to must come in to work and do there job correctly even with the strongest union around. These umpires need to be told to do their job correctly.
  11. How about Wes"Brewer Killer and Ned's son" Helms? He owns the crew.
  12. Yea, looking back, this was probably one of Melvin's better steals. We traded a guy we got via rule V for our lockdown lefty. Obviously a steal. I'd hardly call Shouse a lockdown lefty. He's had quite a few blown holds in our chokes this year in Minny and Denver.
  13. How about not signing Alex Fernandez....
  14. Getting Jeff Leonard... Sorry, I always liked the flap down thing. Anyhow, Matt Mieske, Valentin, and Ricky Bones for Shef still bothers me especially watching Sheffield go for the Triple Crown that year.
  15. We'd get their 1st, second, and two squeeze selections.
  16. At what cost for Bedard though? Seattle isn't going to give him away after what they forked out to get him. I would guess the Brewers would have to deal Escobar, Salome, or Gamel plus players in return.
  17. Thankfully, the Yankees will be one of the 15 best teams, and we will gladly take their #1 pick.
  18. When Bush is ON, he's one. When he's not on, he's AWFUL.
  19. Is this better for him to play in this kind of competition or rookie ball?
  20. Well, if that's your dream with Suppan is still starting, I would hate to see a nightmare of yours.
  21. I'd take him over Rogers and twice on Thursdays.
  22. Not zero percent, so what's your point? That a one run deficit is easy to overcome than a 5 run no? Wait, unless your are opponents of the Brewers.
  23. My biggest beef with umpires is when they look for a fight. That is why baseball needs to grow a set and start fining and suspending them. If someone instigates anything in the real world, that person is going to get something out of it. These guys are making NFL officials look better each day. I don't know about anyone else but the guys we had in the Houston series at the Homer Dome were the worst of the year. Horrible calls, missed strikes, not telling Berkman to run the bases like a human instead of an old woman(couldn't resist), etc.
