    I honestly thought they took the hold stat out years ago back when Chuck Crim is pitching. Our local paper never shows them anyhow. What bothers me most about last night was the fact that Ned did nothing to slow the situation down and waited to the game was arguably lost. I mean sheesh. If you haven't hit the iceberg yet, there still is that possibility Ned to get the Titanic turned no? Not with Captain Yost at Sea.

    The same goes for Mota. Disagreeing with the fact of those arguing, also does not allow for the arguing the reverse is the same. Ned made a mistake and compounded it allowing Mota to continue to lose the lead. That alone should warant a GM to take him behind closed doors. When I make a mistake with decision making, my boss talks to me. When is Melvin doing to do this with Yost and his continual brain farts?

    When is the Ned nightmare going to end? He deserved to be fired 2 years ago for dumb decisions such as this. Why pull your best reliever out of the game at that point in the game? I understand about getting a guy work but right then? Ned's excuses just get weaker and more pathetic game after game. For the poster that said a amanager does not cost a team games this is a defining example of the Yost ERA in Milwaukee. He is Mike Sherman to a T. In my line of work, supervisors and managers get demoted from doing things continually such as this but Melvin and Annastasio keep letting this happen. How can it unless you allow it? I mean "It wasn't a save situation if Kendall scores"? How does this affect Mota in any way? I thought they did away with the Hold stat in the majors 15 years ago? Can we get Estrada back?

    Fits Melvin's MO Washed up - check A jerk - check Huge ERA - check High walk rate - check Aging - check Waived by someone - check Little left in the tank - check The Giants debacle is still fresh in my mind. Uecker always has some bad comments about this guy.

    I am still scratching my head on removing your best hitter right now...2 homers on the road trip. What was with that move to double switch with Hart. Can any of the people who like Yost give me any logic for that one?

    Can anyone honestly tell me how Yost deserves a job? If anyone can blame the last two games on the Gallardo injury..... JJ cost them tonight. I thought Doug said the D was going to be better? Two games in a row the Defense pissed away.

    And it's minor league ball playing on minor league fields. Alcides is getting rave reviews for his glove. And if he hits like he is, he is going to be an upgrade over JJ. JJ is slow running, does have limited range, and does not offer that huge offensive upside. Last year was a fluke beginning. JJ will never, ever hit like he did.

    Bush is very unlucky. If his pitches would have luckily went into the right spots, he would have a better ERA.

    It very well might be pathetic, but there was also only one winning season in there. I just don't think you can say it has to do with Yost. He's a part of it, as the players are, as well as luck. But it's such a broad stat that I don't think it's something to pin on anyone in particular. One winning season with 83 wins is pretty pathetic too.

    Ulice Payne was before Mark. I sat in the first row...actually 3rd which is right behind the dugout, and was a row away from Ulice at a couple games. Almost forgot about that....

    Cappy? He's having TJ surgery again. He'll be lucky to be underhanding to his kids? And Bush? Yeah, he got sent down to minors this year and is lucky to be pitching in the majors.

    No matter how you twist it, what we have showing for an All - Star first baseman that is willing to settle for a walk at the time, is a whole lot better than the complete junkpile of players mentioned. Ten years from now people will still remember Richie Sexson and no one will remember Ohka, Spivey, Crappy, Graffy, Bush, Jorge, and so on.... I loved watching Richie with the kids on Sunday's. Instead, you guys forget that little bit and his drive for the game. Instead, we have whiny at first worried about how much he's making. Yet, you heard about how Richie wanted to stay here.
