  1. I am in shock. Was not expecting this at all, pleasant as it is.
  2. Wasn't Prince in this situation in the 8th last night? Yes. Result: K
  3. Please Prince, just one base hit. PLEASE!
  4. Craig and Hernan? The so-called mashers in this lineup need to take notice.
  5. How many more ABs until the team BA is below the Mendoza line? Before they get home?
  6. 5 walks in 4.1 innings. How can you win pitching like that?
  7. Watching the Brewers right now is about as much fun as. . . Working
  8. Rock trying to explain the Rule 5 draft-comedy gold! Kind of like BA trying to explain anything.
  9. 12 pitches for Lohse that inning. What improvement.
  10. 7 pitch first inning for Lohse. Do i need to pay attention to the rest of this game?
  11. Really? Have you ever seen Yost make a visit to the mound when he's not taking out the pitcher? I think those are "chewings" and they happen pretty frequently, more frequently than most other managers. The problem is just that, he does it on the mound in front of everyone. Demoralizing rather than instilling the fire in the clubhouse. Yost like to put on his show in public.
  12. I am going to delay any comment retracting this platform of mine until Corey is batting in front of Billy. Carefull, Ned might take offense and put Bill in the cleanup spot. He wouldn't actually do that, would he? Oh wait...
  13. Too bad Ned can't give the whole team a "mental break" and let the Sounds play this one.
  14. I know a lot of people here don't like Gross, but this loss was far from his fault. 1 for 3 and saved a run in CF. I wasn't blaming Gross for the loss. Just wondering if the Brewers have won with his awesome bat in the lineup, batting 2nd no less. It isn't Kryptonites fault it disarms Superman, it's just the way it is.
  15. Yea, all he did was go 1-3 with a BB & make a run-saving catch. Hee'zz a bummb! Best game of the year for him. Terrible.
  16. Gabe Gross is terrible. I'm tired of seeing him in the lineup. Ned Yost is terrible. I'm tired of seeing him in the dugout.
  17. Do the Brewers even have a win with Gross in the starting lineup? Kryptonite!!!
  18. Watch him ignore it for another two weeks. Gabe Gross could not get much worse, could he?
  19. He quit meat, not cake and ice cream.
  20. Because Ned Yost has not yet learned how to learn.
  21. I don't get a vote either. I would like to see Bush in the pen for long relief, cause we all saw what Suppan is capable of, as are the other young-ens, in not pitching deep into the game. McClunk should not be trusted with keeping the Brewers in ballgames in which the starter has to exit early.
  22. Gross's first 26 AB in 2006: .385/.448/.923/1.371 I agree with your points rluz, but those numbers still don't support being hotter than Kapler at any time, which was my point... as useless as it is. How do you figure 3? I'm not necessarily doubting you, I'm just wondering if you looked at some formula or came up with some number on the fly. I made the number up based on his game winning rbi's (2) and his significant contribution in at least one other win, if not two.
  23. Without Gabe Kapler, subtract at least 3 wins from the Brewers record thus far. As for the plan... it is to keep plugging until Cameron is back. Gabe Kapler is the best plug at this moment. I would give him the starts in St. Louis. Couldn't be much worse that what Gross has to offer.
