The stadium will remain a special and unique place with or without it being called Miller Park... that wasn’t what made it special. What made Miller Park special was the fans. I do not care in the least what the park is named.
Simply stated... Yelich is untouchable. He is the perfect fit for Miller Park and there is not one player on any Major/Minor league roster that I would consider. Milwaukee/the state of Wisconsin needed a hero and we went out and got a good/great one.
Wishing Villar the very best with the American League. Love the trade and we now have a productive lineup on the field and off the bench. Well Done David Sterns. WELL DONE
I am starting to think the plan for the starters is to hope they can keep us in the game for 5-6 innings and bring in the quality relievers to end the game. The game has changed and the days of Bob Gibson is long since past. And the way DS and CC bring pitchers up and down seems to confirm the change in vision of starting pitching.
Shaw at 2nd base is not perfect, but serviceable. Late inning replacements are sitting on the bench ready to play defense. I am excited to watch tonight's game and I appreciate DS executing a couple of trades that make our team stronger not only on paper, but also on the field. And you cannot tell me that attendance will not be affected in a positive way.
I relish being "under the radar" and as for the east coast bias of ESPN, I seldom give them the time of day any more. Cubs, Cards, keep thinking that way ESPN. We are Wisconsin and we will have a voice in the end.
After reading Haurdicourt article this morning on Brewer future moves, I got thinking IF we make the playoffs, and I am optimistic we will, Who is our starting pitcher for the first game?
