    I thought I heard the announcers say that Cole Hamels would be pitching a potential game 5 matchup vs. Sabathia. If that's true, who is pitching Game 4? Or do we not know?

    Well, IMO.. where would the Astros be w/o Lance Berkman? Missing the playoffs. Where are they with him? Missing the playoffs. And he isn't heads and shoulders above any other player in the NL.

    If a player's team doesn't make it to the playoffs, I don't see that player as being very valuable. If he wasn't there, the Astros would still not make the playoffs. Being valuable means that if you take that player away, that team will probably not make the playoffs. Atleast, that is my definition.

    Cool stuff. I wouldn't get the player I wanted (but nor will I spend $600 to get it).. but even so it's still a cool thing to do.

    I'm just curious, where did you go to school and what for? I've always had boyhood aspirations to be a sports agent, but I've shrugged them off as unrealistic.

    I would like to know as well. I'd love to get somebody like CC, but I live 2 hours away... and I don't want to drive that long for nothing.

    When CC pitched last at home. It was the 9th inning in a relatively close game. The whole crowd was standing and chanting "LET'S GO CC" And then he ended up striking out the side.

    He has greatly underachieved. He doesn't deserve to start everyday no matter how many game winning home runs he hits.

    Innings pitched is a deceiving statistic. You gotta look at how many pitches he's thrown.

    On a different note.. I'd almost rather give up similar prospects to get a Zack Greinke. More than a rental and still a very solid pitcher.. but I heard the Royals don't wanna let him go.

(And the first time I've ever heard them talk on ESPN's First Take about the Brewers.. it was about last night's collapse.. gotta love ESPN) EDIT: If on the very off-chance that I would win.. I think I'd only need 2 tickets. So you could give 2 to somenody else on here or I could give them out to people looking for tickets at the ballpark. (For free of course.. gotta pass on the goodness)

    I think we can only say "but the future" for so long. We NEED to make a move eventually. With Sheets looking like he's gone at the end of the year.. what better time than now?
