  1. Honestly, I'm more than ready to give up on Gamel. No work ethic and he would need a platoon. He also plays over-populated positions.
  2. http://a2.twimg.com/profile_images/903085748/MitchConnor_bigger.jpg
  3. I'm guessing they prefer Carroll so he can play both 3B/SS and switch rest days for McGehee/Betancourt.
  4. If Morgan was hitting .220 he'd be a punk. But since he's raking at the plate, he's fantastic.
  5. lol, they talk about Counsell and Wilson in the outfield then finally talk about Kotsay.
  6. Gotta give it to Gomez... dude is ridiculous out there in CF.
  7. Honestly, does anyone enjoy Davey Nelson or Jerry Augustine? Atrocious.
  8. How'd the Giants look last year right around this time?
  9. For as much as I pooped on RR earlier in the year, overall I think he's done a pretty good job.
  10. I couldn't have said it any better than Rock: "Good to have you back, Brian"
  11. This is me talking out my rear end, but I went to many Rattler games when Green/Lawrie were on the team, and I was more impressed with Green. I loved that dude. Though I've heard he's struggled since then, he was always one of those guys you think wouldn't get out. Lawrie was like a .250 hitter.
  12. If we're giving up two McClendon types, then this deal is highly successful (assuming K-Rod's option won't vest). Amazing. Compare it to the Linebrink deal.
  13. SS is the only need I saw before bullpen. But, that being said, I think SS is a FAR bigger need than relief pitching. If Yuni B is our SS in August, then acquiring Marcum/Greinke/K-Rod was for nothing. He's, sadly, that terrible.
  14. Interestingly, Brewers will not be paying either of those buyouts.
  15. Honestly, Heath Bell would do more bad than good. It would piss off our long-term closer by making him set-up, and it would take resources away from more pressing needs (see: Shortstop).
  16. http://bleacherreport.com...wers-already-a-done-deal I don't get it.
  17. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/a...ey=notebook_cin&c_id=cin *snickers*
  18. Lately, I thought Roenicke has made some solid managerial moves. This series has been marvelous, IMO. (although I was a bit salty last night not seeing Braun up with 2 out in the 9th, but I don't think that's Roencike's fault)
  19. Yuni is debatable. Yuni has had so many plays he SHOULD HAVE made that causes a big inning.
  20. hey lookie... RR made the move he should've made before the inning started. Gomez in CF and ANYBODY BUT LOE on the mound.
