  1. Culver's has crinkle-cut fries. For some reason, I can't stomach their cheese curds. I find them substantially over-salted, and I've always preferred battered to breaded.
  2. It's origins are in Wisconsin, but it's been steadily expanding throughout and beyond the midwest. The only ones I know of in the area are in South County.
  3. Or one could just be grateful for the staff's commitment of time and effort that goes into getting the Power 50 out each month, without feeling the need to trivialize said commitment.
  4. Hall in right field? Even with his righty bat, I'd still rather see Cat or Gerut out there.
  5. Having a bake sale to raise money for a decent pitching staff.
  6. Thanks for the comprehensive insight, CrewDood. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  7. Guh. Despite only four hits and a walk through four innings, and Suppan is already at 76 pitches. Even when they pitch well, our starters still can't make it late into games.
  8. If I may be pedantic for a moment... Bats sleep during the day because they are nocturnal creatures. Hibernation is a metabolic process that animals use to conserve energy during periods of time when food is in short supply (e.g., winter). So while many bats do hibernate, it's not at all related to their nocturnal lifestyle.
  9. Children in general.
  10. Baseball Tonight just showed the clip of Burns getting nicked by the line drive and said, "Good news is that the pitcher stayed in the game." Indeed.
  11. According to Gameday, the first pitch of that at-bat was right down the middle of the plate and called a ball.
  12. Screw the statistical potential, that's just plain fun to watch. It's like RBI Baseball, but without the hive-minded outfielders.
  13. Glad I could help. Personally, I would've gone with Pepe the King Prawn, but X works too.
  14. Not sure if it's drastic enough for you, but Turnbow had a pretty sizable dropoff from 2005 to 2006. There have been instances in the past where that's been done. Certainly something that can be done in the future as well.
  15. As pathetic as it sounds, that kind of defensive ineptitude is fairly commonplace with Duncan.
  16. Macha clearly taking a page from the book of LaRussa in having his worst hitter bat eighth. Or it might just be that way by accident.
