    Just like Brian said, it's mostly there to crack down on the people who feel the need to comment on anything and everything, often adding nothing to the thread/conversation. Length is not really the issue, but rather the effort and thought put into the post. and my opinion doesn't matter That's untrue. We're continuously striving to improve this site and because this community wouldn't exist without everyone's contributions, we always take opinions and suggestions into consideration.

    I whole-heartedly agree. a line of 40-hyphens Instead of using the hypens, you can make that nice line by simply putting hr within a set of brackets and placing it before the text of your signature. It's easier and doesn't look tacky by going only halfway across. EDIT: My reading comprehension skills apparently are bad, and Casey has already mentioned this. Either way, I endorse it.

    It's like in The Dark Crystal. Brewerfan.net represents the kind and gentle Mystics, and EZBoard represents the vile and treacherous Skeksis. Although they are polar opposites, they are all part of the same being, and any fate that befalls one thus befalls the other.

    All this paints Stanford in a fairly pathetic light, and rightfully so. I don't even think that the Director of Residential Life at my college could find and exploit enough loopholes to pull something like that off.

    How long has MLB's gameday been showing pitch speed and degrees of break and arm angles and all that good stuff? Supposedly they do it for every game at Dodger Stadium (among a few others).
