    Dibs on Zach Braddock! It sounds like a cool idea, and I'm curious about how other people think this should work. Currently, I'm picturing a new forum (music to Brian's ears, I'm sure) where there's a thread for each of the adopted prospects. Every two (or four) weeks or so the adopting poster gives a book report-esque update on what's new with the foster player, updating the title Link Report style. Discussion will ensue. The main thing I like about this is that it would allow everyone to become even more familiar with the players within the organization in a way that everyone can get involved.

    Ryan Braun has a chance. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif At his current rate, he'd average about 46 homeruns per year. Which would take him 16.5 years to catch Aaron's record, at which he'd be 39. Of course, I could've screwed up my calculations and there's some fudging of numbers involved because he started this season late, but you get the idea.

    I'll unabashedly admit that I'm a huge Pixar fanboy, and because of this I probably enjoyed Cars a lot more than most people. But in spite of this, I still think that Ratatouille is one of the best movies that you can see in theaters this year. The plot is excellent, the detail of the animation is stunning, and the overall execution is flawless. It's not often that you see a movie that leaves you in such an all-around good mood, but this movie does it. This is likely to be one of the rare occasions when I go to see a movie more than once when it's still in the theater.

    Actually, there wasn't really any thread. He made a post (which I deleted) which was an unsubstantiated accusation of someone being racist. I sent him a warning (second strike) and he responded with a number of messages calling myself and this site racist, which earned him his third strike. I sent him a message explaining why he was banned, and this is the response that I got.

    Actually, that pork comment was directed at me. And man, it hit deep. Anyways, it's odd how someone who thinks so little of our community would go through so much trouble to become a part of it again.
