  1. I think Guerra could have had a complete game shutout if not for two defensive screw ups adding 25 pitches now.
  2. My three year old thinks "we should get rid of these bad hitters and get good ones". I agree. Or shock therapy for swinging at garbage.
  3. No excuse for Shaw and Braun. What on earth with this team. Stop striking out
  4. Thankfully we added a player that can take a walk when it's obvious the pitcher can't throw a strike. Sheesh
  5. Perez swinging at a pitch that bounced what, five feet in front of the plate? Cut him too please
  6. The roster management is extremely questionable lately. The philosophy seems to be "we've been calling up filth all year and it worked before, why isn't it working now?"
  7. I'll complain about Sogard this time. Arcia at his worst is significantly better than Sogard. I'm so confused as to why he's even allowed to play baseball. Can we just take his glove and cleats?
  8. They clearly have been very high on Nottingham, and up to this point that trade looks horrible. He was regarded as a top prospect when traded, if I'm remembering correctly. I see no reason not to bring him up to see if he hits. We're just taking whatever crap teams are offering at SS/2b, why not give a talented guy a chance at C?
  9. Shaw? Dude has a .814 OPS this season (on a career OPS of .803). How is that under-performing? I think most of us were expecting him to resume his first half of last year. Which I think eventually may happen. Aside from the obvious injury, he just seems to be in a sophomore slump (I get that he wasn't a rookie last year). He's looked Arcia-ish for much of the year. Just uncomfortable. But yeah, it doesn't help that everybody aside from Aguilar has really under performed all year.
  10. I guess it's interesting to see an almost completely different lineup swing and miss.
  11. I'm sorry he's hurt. I'm not heartbroken he won't be back in the rotation anytime soon. I agree. I don't think he should have a guaranteed spot. Give me Peralta every five days going forward. And it's hard not to like Suter even though I've tried so hard.
  12. This guy looks like he throws with little velocity and little movement... am I missing something? Even the replacements should be able to hit league average pitching.
  13. i thought Yellish had a lower body pulled muscle? I agree with resting Shaw. He is in obvious discomfort with his wrist. Give him some time off. Yelich. I may become quite Yellish if Yelich goes on the DL. This would be a good time for Braun to have his perhaps last hot streak of his career. Too much for ask for some one else to start hitting?
  14. I completely agree with that state of mind. I think with the current talent we'll win about the same as last year, which is why I am advocating for adding a bat. The starting pitching is going to go through a rough patch at some point and we will fall out of contention quickly if we keep the same incredibly inconsistent offense.
  15. This feels a lot like last year, having a great month then just treading water. A split against the Royals at home isn't acceptable, gotta go get a bat IMO
  16. Oooof. Arcia and a .488 OPS. How would that rank if he were a pitcher? Middle of the pack?
