CC has had a bad year with a poor roster that has played below even their talent level. We can judge him more in the next few years as they actually acquire young talent and completely overhaul a roster that isn’t working.

At this point, how do you even approach burnes or woodruff with an extension? It would take 40 million per year to keep them with this lineup

I still think if he learns to swing at pitches almost exclusively in the strike zone he can hit .260-.270. Just has too much reach sometimes

Turang should hit for him. The Urias/ adames show was cute when they didn’t suck at defense and at the plate.

I get the argument on paper, but it’s been pointed out by many posters that we pad our offensive stats against average to bad right handed pitching, particularly late in games. The struggles early in the game and especially against lefties haven’t been quite as bad as last year, but it’s still a large problem. Unfortunately for everyone, our pitching and defense seem to suck the same as our hitting at the moment.

To say adames and Urias have been a huge part of the problem this year would be an understatement. just lower your leg lift and launch angle and you’ll increase your OPS by 100 points. Good lord

heck just bring up the whole AAA lineup at this point. I guess there’s no point in mentioning hiura is not starting at DH…. Did he insult CC’s kids? Mother? His dogs?

McCutchen waiting 2/3 of the year to have this game ?. Maybe he has a couple more in him the rest of the way?

It’s really starting to bother me how good the dodgers have become at developing their own players instead of just buying everyone and failing.
