Well, we're just going to have to disagree then. I am one of the most understanding people you will ever meet, and there was absolutely nothing malicious, or unfeeling in my comment. If you want to think that I'm this cold, and insensitive *****, so be it. But it doesn't change the fact that what I said is true. Jean Segura needs to pull himself together, and get his head in the game, or he needs to not be playing. If he is so beset with grief that he cannot do his job, then he needs to tell somebody that he can't play the game anymore. If he is at the plate, or in the field, thinking about his little boy, then he doesn't need to be playing baseball. He needs people around him that can help him. Or, maybe he just needs more time to himself. People grieve in different ways. Maybe he never gets over this, and maybe he can't play at the same high level he did in the first half last year. Nobody would blame him if he had to hang it up. There are some things that you just can't ever fully recover from. But he needs to be honest with himself, and his teammates. Either he is able to do the job he is being paid for, or he can't, because there are a lot of people that have made a lot of sacrifices so this team could get to where it is now. This is a critical part of the season, and everybody needs to be focused on playing their very best baseball.
