    The attorney for one of MLB's alleged witnesses is not happy, not happy at all. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/9354195/attorney-key-potential-witness-biogenesis-case-accuses-mlb-bullying-client Martin Beguiristain, attorney for Carlos Acevado: I really don't think this is going to end well for MLB, guys. Their Draconian tactics are going to backfire badly.

    Come on Brauny. Do something, for God's sake. He's in an awful slump. 2 extra base hits, and 2 RBI in his last 10 games.

    Braun playing again I see. Ron Roenicke wouldn't know a good idea if somebody dropped a safe on his head. Apparently, he's never had an injured thumb. The sad thing is I'm paying for MLB premium, and I'm not even watching any games. MLB and their steroid hunt + the Brewers season is making me not even want to turn the TV on. But we've had a few good draft picks, so that's a positive!

    I remember the day when I found out Paul Molitor was no longer a Milwaukee Brewer. I said some words I will not repeat here. I also remember seeing that Gary Sheffield had won the batting title the year after leaving Milwaukee. I was none too thrilled then, either.

    Hmm. We have Jean Segura, and Arcia behind him. So why are we selecting a shortstop? Project third base?

    He's got a nice mix of pitches, and should have a real power fastball. I do like this pick, and I have to admit, I'm actually excited. I was bracing for the worst, but this was great value for the 54th pick (44th on BBA's top 200 list).

    Shouldn't it be a prerequisite that the guys doing these announcements speak friggin' English? Between Jose Cruz and Pedro Astacio, I didn't understand a word they said. Ryan McMahon is going to go back to watch the moment he was drafted on the DVR, and have difficulty picking his own name out of that jumbled mess.

    Same here. I am just trying to hold on, I need to see something positive happen for the Milwaukee Brewers organization right now.

    We'd be World Champs if that were the case.

    I don't think Braun is slacking. He's showing the effort. He's just hurt. I don't know if you've ever played baseball. But having a thumb injury makes it very difficult to grip a bat, and every time you swing, whether or not you make contact, you're putting torque on it. That's why even giving him the day off, but pinch hitting him, basically is the same as if he played the entire game. Any swelling on the thumb will flare back up as soon as he swings the bat.

    Cardinals about to go to 18 games over .500. Shelby Miller was a stud again, and the bats scored 12 runs to support him.

    Wow, Shelby Miller is looking really good. Hasn't given up more than 3 earned runs in his last eleven starts. What I would give to have somebody like him in a Brewers uniform. It's going to suck waiting 12 more years until we sign him.

    There's more to fielding than how fast you can get to the ball.

    Does it seem to anybody else that this team has quit? Two hits off a guy with a 4.76 ERA coming in. Our entire starting pitching staff is awful, we're not hitting a lick. Roenicke has lost this team. I wish that Mark A. would just make a move, and try to spark something, and at least give us something to look forward to for next year. Because outside of Segura and Gomez, there's no reason to watch this team play right now. None.

    He wouldn't be the #10 prospect in baseball if he just had speed. He'll be an average, slightly above average hitter with little power. But he's also going to be an above average fielder in center.

    Domonic Brown has some real tools. The Phillies were patient waiting for him to develop, and now it's paying off for them in a big way.

    I've been saying the same thing for a week. RRR thinks if he gives him a day off, it will magically be all better.

    What's he supposed to say? This team sucks. I hate them. You're right. Ugh, I just checked the Brewers game. 1st inning, we're already down 2-0.

    The talent base of our divisional opponents has dramatically improved in the last 90 minutes. Yikes. This feels exactly like my first dance as a kid. All the pretty girls are being taken before it's my turn to pick.
