scooter has an OPS of .282 in 35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at bats. I mean... thats just... how can you even begin to feel you have any pulse on his abilities with a number like that?

no, actually, I wouldnt. Are you aware how bad Scooter is against Lefties? OPS......282......that is OPS not OBP... Weeks is 768 Scooter can't hit lefties...not even a little bit..... sample................................ size............................... pretty sure its impossible to improve your batting timing/skills against LHP when you never get at bats...

how many days does a player have to play prior to Sept 1st to be eligible for the playoffs? im thinking about Fiers, and if Garza gets back in the rotation before Aug 31, if they send Fiers back to AAA will he have had enough games in the MLB to be on the playoff roster when they expand and he gets brought back up? is there a possibility they just never send him back down and send someone else? or that Garza doesnt come back before Sept 1?

thats a bunch of horse crap, the Cutch HBP was 10000% intent for the unintentional hit the night before. im not sure if LaRussa is aware, but Frieri is AWFUL. There is no way he intentionally threw and hit a HAND when he can barely hit the strikezone. LaRussa is nothing but a troll. I forgot he was even still in baseball until he poked his face from under whatever bridge the diamondbacks have him stashed to do that interview.

I guess, there have been other interviews of him while he was with pittsburgh last year about it that I couldnt find when I did that search where he talked about the reasons he took it, and seemed more open than pretty much any other player I could remember. doesnt change the fact he was pretty bad in 2012 when he got busted though

Yep, in 2012 Wow, didn't realize or had forgotten about that. he was also dealing with some heavy personal issues with his family at that time as well, so he might not have been mentally right prior to his injury

either Walker or McCuthen will be put on the 15-day DL today, walker was pulled from the game last night, and they wont play with a 23 man roster after losing last nights game, so someones going on the DL
