    the pittsburgh board I post on HATES everything about the brewers, its all because of the domination of the last 8 years or so... the radio show I listen to on my drive to work this morning was talking about how Braun was "caught multiple times" cheating, that brewers fans are jokes for cheering and standing for him at the home opener, and played the 3 Hr's yesterday from BA's broadcast, calling him a joke (BA) and applauding the Phillies fan who was on air yelling cheater. When they play here (pittsburgh) next weekend i'll be at 3 of the 4 games and I can expect with 100% certainty that the fans in the RF bleachers will nonstop heckle braun the entire game.

    Taillon wasnt going to make the majors until late summer unless a number of other pitchers all exploded quickly. If Wandy/Volquez fail they have Jeff Locke to throw in there still, Taillon wasnt going to factor in the rotation until next year, so yeah, its a blow to their rotation in the next two years, but its not catastrophic by any means.

    I read that Shane Victorino had the surgery on his hand this offseason and Braun found out that it really wasnt that successful, so I mean, surgery doesnt always fix everything, especially when it comes to nerves.

    Like our Starter and Closer on Opening Day. What did the media say about our reaction to them? How many of the boos were about his PEDs and how many of the boos were about how he left the team? id say more about PEDs than how he left the team, most pirates fans I know here are over him leaving pittsburgh. back then there was no way the pirates could have afforded to keep him anyways, if there was any other reason to boo him besides PED's it would be because he was a pretty awful person towards the fans and the media in pittsburgh in the late 80's/90's. but he still got more cheers than boos on opening day because fans dont really care, they got their slugger back for one afternoon. does anyone boo Mark McGuire in st louis? did anyone after he lied to congress? the hypocrisy of the writers at ESPN is overwhelming. someone wrote yesterday that he was okay to cheer for bonds and mcguire because what they did wasn't "against the rules".... unreal. sure, there weren't "rules" at that time, but "rules" were created BECAUSE of them.

    this all happened roughly an hour and a half after Barry Bonds was greeted to boo's (before being overtaken by cheers) in Pittsburgh, I think thats what the national media was hoping would have happened in milwaukee to Braun, and when it didnt, suddenly Brewers fans are "idiots". What will be the response next year when Arod returns to NY? What was the response Peralta got in St Louis? What about Cruz in Baltimore?

    its pretty incredible that a pitcher went from rookie to MLB, all thanks to a lil TJ. talk about winning the lottery for Wang. im not sure if this was mentioned, or asked, earlier, but when he signed with the Pirates, did they not do a physical prior? was it something he needed repaired but the Pirates didnt notice it until after the contract was signed?
