  1. he was at 85 pitches through 4, too, i dont know if that had an impact.
  2. would love this to happen! we need a one playoff game to determine who plays in the one playoff game to go onto the first round of the playoffs
  3. Billingsley hit the DL, would be surprised if the Dodgers dont try to get Marcum
  4. Still ahead of Morris is Sean Halton who's posted a .943 OPS since the break at a higher level. Halton has 1 HR every 21.25 AB, nearly matching Morris' 1 every 20.24. Whether or not Halton would be exposed to the rule 5 I'm not sure, and with Morris behind him it's not critical, but he's earned a call up. Halton also has a higher OBP than Morris. was not really aware of his production!
  5. That's what I thought about Wolf. wolf wasnt put on waivers, wolf was outright released and became a free agent, anyone could sign him in either league, unlike waivers
  6. i'd be surprised if he made it to the AL
  7. O's got Wolf. lucky them I guess? hope he works better for them than he has for milwaukee this year
  8. no they dont, teams dont put players on waivers they wouldnt actually consider trading. they're not going to waste the time putting on and reclaiming the player once they get claimed. the angels arent going to waste their time putting mike trout, alberta, or any other key piece on their roster just because they can.
  9. marcum on waivers! does he get claimed and traded, or claimed to block being traded?
  10. Unless they have to add him anyway to protect him from Rule 5, I really hope they don't do this. 40-man spots are pretty valueable, and Morris probably won't be a Brewer next year as Hart and/or Gamel will cover 1B, so I'd rather they keep him off the 40-man until he either needs to be added, or he forces his way onto the big league roster. you're right, i forgot about that.
  11. HERE WE COME .500!!!!!!!! YOU BEST BE READY

  14. my 2013 rotation: Ben Sheets Doug Davis Jeff Suppan Braden Looper David Bush
  15. from the sonics to the bucks? big change there!
  16. I wonder if the Brewers will add Morris to the 40-man in September to bring up after his incredible season in AA is over. sort of a "hey, congrats on a great season, enjoy a month in the majors on the bench!"
  17. where do you think Crawford will hit in that lineup? I honestly feel like part of why he was so mediocre last year was that he was hitting at the bottom of the order instead of in that #2 spot he sat in in Tampa Bay. he hit better this year, in his limited 30 games, in the #2 spot... just my observation
  18. Theo Epstein must be pissed... the timebomb in Boston was defused... unless the plan all along was to blowup an NL major market team all along just in time for a Cubs WS run... what a sneaky sneak
  19. a-gonz beckett crawford Punto and $260 of the $271 million they're owed for James Loney Jerry Sands Ivan DeJesus Jr. Rubby De La Rosa Allen Webster thats nuts
