  1. 7.25 mil for dev
  2. Cubs get worse? ✅
  3. So what you're saying is, more often than not, we perform better than they project. I'll take that, world series here we come!!!!
  4. I hope they lose in the NLDS
  5. Mets are going all in!!!!!! World series here they come!!!!
  6. World series here we come!!!!!
  7. World series here we come!!!!!
  8. For someone who never played in the mlb, too! Like, I'd say someone manned up and some
  9. Full circle for Cooper if he ended up in Milwaukee
  10. Did we just potentially avoid another hiura? If so, I am 10000000% glad for the sanity of this forum
  11. The brewers ownership is now 18 groups, that a quick Google search told me includes members of the Lunar, Marcus and Uihlein families, as well as Harris Turer of the Admirals and Giannis.
  12. Ohtani apparently has an opt out if max walter loses majority stake in team or andreew Friedman loses his role as prez of Baseball Ops
  13. Pirates sure do love to recycle brewers huh
  14. I'm not against deferring money from contracts, I just think there needs to be a limit per year in the CBA. Like you can only defer 50% of the contract value for as many years as you want. If MLB had a salary cap, the aav of the contract would be the cap hit (like the NHL), but we don't have that, we have a lux tax based solely off the paid contracts at the end of a season. So a team who will spend to that tax threshold each year gains an unfair advantage to "less rich" owners and franchises, especially when they know the tax also impacts potential draft picks.
  15. This is within the rules of the current cba, but I bet this forces a change when the next CBA is negotiated. An Ohtani rule to prevent teams from abusing contracts/tax avoidance
  16. I only see 700 million because he's elite on both sides so getting $350 million for the bat and $350 million for the arm, I don't see any player matching what he does. He's essentially two players
  17. They'll still lose in the first round
  18. Cards trade O'Neil to Boston, ok
  19. My coworker in Canada said ohtani is getting 600/10 years, and since he's Canadian, I have to believe him. Canadians can't lie
  20. Boob just lee corso'd everyone
  21. That's definitely what happened. Honestly, it's kind of amazing and sad at the same time to see an owner essentially said, "I'm not dying without trying" and pushing all his chips in.
