    I love this guy, both the player and you as a poster. thank you for being vocal for your players, especially those who play for the team we love. So glad he ended up back with the club, JJ is electric to watch. also, #3, was it a dr in milwaukee, or a doctor employed by the franchise? I could see the second option being an issue, but if it was the first option... that makes no sense.

    I don't know if that is right. I found this: "3. As long as the player did not appear in a game during the retroactive period (including "official" MLB Cactus League or Grapefruit League games or other MLB pre-season exhibition games), an MLB 10-day DL assignment can be backdated up to three days." https://www.thecubreporter.com/book/export/html/3538 there is no limit to how far back they can go. http://m.mlb.com/glossary/injuries/10-day-dl Players may be placed on the 10-day DL "retroactively," meaning the DL stint is backdated to the day after the last date on which the player appeared in a game. For instance, if a pitcher is diagnosed with elbow inflammation on June 4 after feeling soreness during his June 1 start, he could be placed on the 10-day DL on June 4 retroactive to June 2. In that case, he would be eligible to return from the disabled list on June 12.

    since instituting the 10-day disabled list, i believe the farthest they can backdate is three days, four tops. If this is true and Pina goes to the DL now it was a huge blunder. talk about overreacting...     its also been cold, colder than normal for most of the MLB cities, and that adds to muscle injuries.

    I love the idea of having Hader for 1+ IP out of the pen every few days. I have always had this idea that he would end up in the rotation (maybe he still does?) but he is just pure dominance out of the pen. I dont know if that holds up with 5+ innings an outing, but whats happening right now is working, so why mess with it?

    im surprised there has been no mention of Lopez coming up to the MLB team yesterday. Counsell said he is available for multiple innings edit; I saw there were two posts on the last page, before the deluge of comments about JJ and Drake lol
